EPTit sure is clever from the point of view of chelsea. but big clubs like chelsea hoarding hundreds of talents in their youth and farm teams across europe is certainly not good for smaller clubs, the majority of those talented young players and the future of football as a whole. most of them are just bulk for financial fairplay and have no real perspective whatsoever of making it to chelsea's first squad.

Yes thats why I said it was digustingly clever. Instead of just you know... clever. Still Chelsea has no obligation to the future of football nor does any other major club.. Everyone is in the game for self preservation and their own respective futures, so its unfair to call them out when everyone else in the business doesnt really have honest altruistic intentions either. | ||

You are not wrong that Chelsea has no obligation to football but you can see what happend to Formula 1 if anyone just looks for his own advantages. Just because you can destroy the market doesnt mean that you have to have a roster of practically 50+ players. Stuff like farmteams work in american sports because they are closed markets but i dont think they work well overall for us. We already see a problematic spread in financial firepower like the ridicules PL TV contract. I mean how high is the chance that one of the big 4 NOT wins the CL this year? 2 percent? 5? | ||
