3-0 for everton, every goal qpr player last one to touch the ball, every goal would seemingly not have been a goal if not for the deflection.

the Dutchman, who has been linked with the Reds in the past, would be interested in speaking to the Merseysiders were the club's American owners - the Fenway Sports Group - to approach him, at least according to Frank's twin brother Ronald. If Liverpool come now he would certainly think about it," Ronald de Boer told Fox Sports. "He would certainly not close the door immediately, like he did two years ago.

As an Ajax supporter I really hope this is not true.. though Ajax have great coaches to follow him up, I don't think Frank would do well at a club like liverpool at all, in England, I could see him as Arsenal manager (if Wenger ever dies). He should only leave for the absolute top, imo, and liverpool is too much meh. And English football in general is just behind in the meta, imo. One thing is sure though, Frank de Boer is a great manager already and any team that gets him will improve.

He also uses a lot of Dutch sayings or literally translating Dutch words that mean something totally different in context. Like when some journalist asked about de Gea's contract situation he also said: "That's between the club and the player, point". Saying 'point' or 'punt' at the end of a sentence in Dutch means that there's no more discussion to be had, like the sentence before it ends the entire discussion about the subject. It's a strict way of saying: we're not talking about it any longer. Obviously in English it doesn't make any sense :D Other one that I can remember is when he was talking about an upcoming match against Chelsea: "but that's another cook.. or ehhrr biscuit". Dutch saying "dat is andere koek" (that's another cookie) which means it's more difficult. FYI we do actually have that saying, only you say period not point . i.e: De Gea is the best keeper in the league. Period.

He had a shaky first season and people wanted him out, but it was kinda expected, i mean, he had to fit in Van der Saar gloves AND the pression of the Old Trafford... For a 21 year old boy it was quite the challenge
