Southampton is looking quite solid thus far. I'm of course a big fan of Koeman and Pelle so I'm happy they are doing well early in the season. Along with Chelsea I think they have had one of the best off seasons in the Premier League under difficult circumstances. For so many new players they have hit the ground running. I think there is no reason they can't match or even better their performance of last season.

Oh my god. What seemed like a small injury for Holger Badstuber is a tendon tear in his thigh. He needs an operation and is out for atleast the rest of 2014. Just came back after two acl-injuries that kept him from playing for almost 2 years.

Its not been a particularly memorable first half but its great to see packed ground in the Championship for once
