Need more Iniesta and David Silva, they are Spain's best players and should play till 35.

I'm beginning to wonder if Feyenoord selling their entire defense was such a bad thing after all haha... We switched to a back 5 for a reason and LvG used it in WC for a reason too I suppose. This is like the France game before the WC where simple long ball over the top was enough to bamboozle both Stefan and Bruno. Added bonus of a soft red/penalty (correct call, but still... a friendly) and this game is useless for both teams now in terms of learning anything.

Not really. Koke is alot more phsyical and definately adds some good punch. He is also a much better goal threat. Doesnt quite have the same vision and positional sense and hes a good passer but not a gifted one.

oh and when Zlatan does stuff like this it makes me get all tingly for him

Yes I noticed this too. I was watching a few of the games a week, reading opinion, keeping up to date. Suddenly it doesn't exist at all anymore.

As a Seattle fan I'm still loving it. Helps when your team is top of the table. I think the level of play has gotten pretty good, watching the top teams is like watching a good Championship match. Chivas though... probably League 2 level.

Against France it was Vlaar and Bruno, though. Frankly the Dutch 4-3-3 just won't work with the players we currently have, this friendly served to remind us that. The defenders we have just aren't complete, but a lot can change though in the coming years. I hope Bruno starts learning how to use the ball at Porto while Stefan becomes smarter and stronger defensively at Lazio.

The problem is that our defenders are slow as fuck though. especially Martins-Indi.The more I watch him, the more it becomes painfully obvious. That probably won't change, and there is only so much you can do with positioning and general intelligence and dirtiness to corrrect for that. Tactically you can, and 2 + sweeper sounds fine to me.

man I hate Sky (I live in germany) and they told that they dont support S02 (works in CI module) cards anymore in a few months. Currently S13 &S14 cards sucks and CI+ module doesnt come in my house.

If nothing changes, I have to live without bundesliga soon

I dont care about my 30€ monthly fee (Bundesliga + CL+ HD quality).

Fuck injuries. Ilkay Gündogan played one half (35 min) in a practice match against BVB U23. I really hope his back is fine again. Nobody deserves injuries : (

Coventry City back in the Ricoh. That situation was just crazy. Its great to see it resolved whatever they worked out. I haven't bothered to read about the technicalities and whether the new deal is reasonable or anything like that. Its just great to see Coventry playing in Coventry again. I personally think it should be mandatory that any club in the football league owns its stadium so that kind of craziness doesn’t ever happen again. It never would have happended in Gordon Strachan's time.
