They didn't play better, and Argentina didn't stop playing. Two goals just happened, where previously they did not. Atleast in my opinion. The score could easily have been reversed if Germany defended only slightly better, and Gomez was never on the field. I didn't think Argentina looked much better than Germany on the whole, if at all. Di Maria was pretty good though. | ||

I loved him when he was with us, but clearly in his mind real Madrid is the best club in the world, he even insinuated me kept him as a salve, don't really fancy being his fallback for his last big payday when hes probably soon to be past his best anyways and never really loved us as much as we did him. 4-2-3-1 would be the best choice for them. Henderson-Wilshere, Sterling-Barkley-Sturridge and Rooney frontman. This is such a scary offensive team. | ||

Also a midfield of Henderson and Wilshire means neither of them gets to exploit their strengths, if they had an anchor in between them that midfield would be absolute dynamite! Also both Sturridge and Sterling needs to play centrally. I have no clue how England can make this happen though, good luck Roy. | ||
