There is no good reason for doing something that stupid Was Buff always this dirty of a player? I never really got to see many Winnipeg games, but I thought he was more of a clean hard hitting guy? Is this new or did I just never see it/hear of it before? He should for sure get a game for that. Might get more because of recent history but I know they like to hold back on star player suspensions during the playoffs...

And with how the NHL handled Subban and the entire VAN/CGY series he will not get a suspension. He should though. Ducks probably want buff in the line up though. He takes alot of penalties and loves to get himself out of position to throw a hit.

Also all the talk about how unfair it is that they got another #1 is silly too. The current system really is the most fair. The lotto means it isn't auto #1 if you tank, but it absolutely should be a bottom team that gets it. salary cap, franchises being in cities they have no place on being, taking money from the wealthy teams, making things competitive. Fuck my life. This is what we come to expect in round 1 of the playoffs. thuggery, buffoonery and a weakened product. I miss the days we could throw money at players. I really wouldn't mind to seeing 20 teams instead of 30+. Oilers have been circling the toilet bowl for a while because as everyone withe eyes can see their owner and executives are all idiots. The fans are to blame for this too, by slavishly going to the games while Katz literally shits in their mouths every season they support the dumb situation. Yep and as Hawk said it has everything to do with their management and culture. Is it best to really take players who are scouted to be the top guys yet have a lot of guys you picked prior to fitting those roles? Look at some of the players they passed up. If the fans weren't going to the games then the whole NHL would be suffering yet it is true. As Canadians we love our hockey and it's the place to be for us win or lose. Too much talk about old time hockey when you should be focusing on the now. The Oilers product is shit and the Leafs bombed. The fact you have players showing absolutely zero passion is pathetic. Any team who doesn't make the playoffs is a travesty. That's why you see so many guys getting the axe because at the end of the day. You should be able to make it.

What i meant was if you don't make the playoffs then you're really fucking bad and you should re-think your plan. Look how many coaches and other management get fired every year.

I don't know why they played so conservatively in the third though, that played right into the Pens playstyle. The Rangers dominated the first two periods. The Pens only got 11 sog. Also I can't wait until someone blasts Sid, my god I can't stand him. He loves hitting people in the head for someone who whines a whole lot about getting his mushy brain touched. Threw a couple elbows at McDonagh, and also buzzed Hank. Hank obviously sold it and Yandle's stick did hit him too, but Sid does dumb stuff like that all the time.
