They train together so they know how to shut out the opposition. Don't mistake Boarder Cross for a fair run, anything goes all long you you don't push your opponent.

If someone with "neutral wind" would jump 120 meters, good wind can make him go 130+ and bad wind can make him drop to 110. While I'm sure the new wind compensation isn't always perfect, it's certainly less random than it used to be.

Where did you get that from. That's like 1 curler in every 40 people.

Canadian skipper is wearing their traditional power-hairdo. Probably number one soccer mom in suburbia. Its kinda scary how Jennifer Jones hair is always in the exact same place on every single shot and her face always has the same expression. From the canadian curling website: Another active division of the CCA is development. It primarily involves a series of programs aimed at retaining curlers and developing programs and materials to recruit new ones. It is through the development programs that direct contact is maintained with approximately 1,050 affiliated curling clubs, 14 provincial/territorial associations, 12 affiliate member and regional development centers and over 1 million Canadians who play the sport each year.

Edit: I search and Reuters said "With nearly one million registered curlers in Canada, more than the rest of the world combined". Little Sweden will fight big red of the west in big red of the east + Show Spoiler + not china
