It's been so long. You won't get any sympathy from us Germans for that win ^^ But maybe a protest.
What choice did the Fin have? He was in front of both opponents and between two lanes when coming down the hill... If he takes the right one, the German will drive into him from behind, in the left one the Russian runner was even closer... No way a protest will achieve anything here.
oh, and fun ice hockey...

Thats just the nature of mens sprint.
I'd be probably crying as well if it happened to us.

Not true, he wasn't between the lines but clearly heading for the left one before suddenly changing direction. The Russian wasn't even trying to overtake him at this time. But yeah, as I said already, it's part of the game and a protest will achieve nothing.

Bronze in both the gentlemen and ladies team sprint. And the Swiss overshot their last curling stone. I'll take it. ^^

He was ahead of the german and as such he had the right to pick whatever lane he wanted. I understand that the germans must be sad but it was his own fault that he crashed.
Emil Jönsson luckiest man ever?
2 medals cause of competitors crashing right before finish.

Of course Jauhojärvi had the right to choose the lane, but considering the Fin was ahead for no more than a second or two and given that he had almost no time to react it's maybe a bit harsh to blame Tscharnke for the crash lol.

well... the protest is official now, even though I still see no chance for it going through

And the biathlon relay is also looking great! Could we make 2 golds so quickly after each other!?

Maybe you'd like to be reminded that France actually got second in the last WC and CZE was 3rd ...
Well if Bjoerndalen decides not to miss for once, he is poised to take the record from Daehlie ... Not that it's significant considering Daehlie only did 3 Olympics and OEB six ...
I'm so disappointed.

"Favored by far" is a stretch that only exists in my mind, but "France should have got this race in the bag" is completely reasonable. Sure, mate.
Also, gratz on your 4k post.
