I remember watching a game vs the Bucks iirc and Brandon Knight!? got wherever he wanted on the floor. BUT - I'm also starting to think the team is filled with too many bad players and Mike Brown has really screwed stuff up. Not all Irving's fault.

I suspect the same regarding the team construction and coaching. There's a huge possibility that Kyrie bolts as soon as he can, which would be pretty rough for CLE fans. Although I have to admit that I'd be secretly snickering a bit since it'd make Dan Gilbert look like even more of a schmuck ("Stay Lebron!" "Lebron = worst person ever" "We don't need Lebron, we have Kyrie!" "New hope = Lebron's return!").

Atleast Dolan's willing to shell out money, even if stupidly. Gilbert's like a cheap Dolan.

It's just absolutely zero effort. Thomas is bad, but he puts up some fight. If you look at Synergy's stats, you kinda see that Kyrie is an elite iso player but merely good or even average in everything else, plus he's a turnover machine. Isaiah is a lot more balanced. Not as strong in iso situations but I think he outperforms Kyrie everywhere else.

The team as a whole has played better defense this year, so I wouldn't blame Kyrie's defense on him. I'd blame it on Kyrie's lack of effort. That being said, Thomas is too small to play good D against a lot of guards, so it's not like his defense is great either. But I would say it's better than Kyrie's

So our starting point guard is now Kendal Marshal..... Sigh. We started the year with so much depth and now it's all gone.
