Unrelated, but who ends up having a more productive NBA career: Kwame or A Bennett?
There really isn't that much evidence, that given the amount of cash the league gets from the TV deals, that mid sized markets couldn't compete. And plus, its obvious to anyone who doesn't live in those cities that New Orleans, Charlotte, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis (at the very least) shouldnt have teams.

Flopping tis a Venial Sin. Tanking is a mortal sin. Read the 10 commandments.
1. Thou shalt not say college ball is more excellent than the NBA 2. Thou shalt not tank, for tankers art losers and losers art lame 3. Thou shalt not root for the Knicks or Lakers unless thine father did before thee 4. Thou shalt get thine ass back on D ...... My creativity stops there. End of the year accounts, this could have been a fun post.
Any time Ray Allen puts the ball on the floor or passes it's either really ugly or a turnover. It's just so amazingly bad. Go to his NBA player page and watch the turnover videos from his last few games.
Very solid win for the Warriors. Great Defense, Lee is playing much better offensively of late. Terrible refereeing also, ugh. Although Bogut is injured apparently :S
Topic: Allstars The way the league currently does allstar weekend is so stupid, the dunk contest is garbage compared to the old era.
Name your starters and reserves by position for the east and west based on this season alone(current skill and not bias or popularity) West: Starters: Chris Paul, Harden, Durant, Aldridge, Howard. Bench: Curry, Westbrook(too good to leave off so ill throw him at sg), Thompson, Love, Davis
No way Thompson should be on there. I'd put Parsons/Monte Ellis in there over him. Iggy if he wasn't injured for so much of the season. Wall starts over Irving. Irving's been so...mediocre this year, with a lot of poor shooting slumps and is downright poor on Defense. He's still on there but more because of how bad the East is than how All-Star caliber he is to me. Would leave off Drummond. Can't shoot FTs, Detroit is a mess on D with their huge starting lineup. I'd have put in Brook Lopez before his injury and Chandler before his injury as well but now I'd probably put in Chris Bosh.
Goddamn looking at that list is making me realize how pathetic the East is.
No Tony Parker? Lillard will have to get in the conversation too (sorry Ace). I think one of Bled/Dragic are very deserving this year but I doubt they'll get much attention.
Tony Allen has made himself into one of the NBA’s premier defenders, but his aggressiveness on the defensive end went a little too far last month against the Clippers. As Chris Paul drove the lane, Allen reached out to stop him and made contact with Paul’s face. Except Allen used his foot.
Allen served a one-game suspension for the incident. Now Allen is auctioning off the shoe to raise money for a Memphis-based charity. The shoe — autographed by Allen and mounted in a Grizzlies display case — is currently available on eBay to raise money for Youth Villages. Per the eBay description…

Well I was going by position so I wanted to put a SF not a SG there. Iggy would be there instead if he didn't get injured. The reason I put Thompson over Parsons is because he carries more responsibility for his team, but that's arguable and it could go either way. Parsons is probably the better player atm. Irving has really stepped it up over the past 2 weeks so thats why I gave him the nod but again they are pretty close so its up to personal opinion. The only big I could see replacing Drummond is Al Horford or Al Jefferson. Chris Bosh has been pretty mediocre this year imo while Drummond is averaging 13-13 with 5 offensive boards 1.5 steals and 1.5 blocks.
My friend and I were laughing while making our lists because coming up with the east reserves was such a struggle.
Edit: To Bob - I think Paul, Curry and Westbrook have performed at too high a level and impacted their team much more than TP impacts the spurs atm. If any guard was going to be replaced for someone I'd replace Curry with Lillard( I don't really like Currys game/defence and Lillard is so dynamic on both ends of the floor this season).
