This RM team will be pretty scary the next few years now that they are out from under the Mou shadow.. And L2 defend set piece, second one was well executed, first one, where the fuck was the marker, went to sleep hard To many good players to let loose in your half of the pitch

History is repeating itself here lately, as the "we have achieved it"-feeling/applause from media is the immediate predecessor of bitter disappointment for many german teams in recent years. (I am a Germany fan) I wish that could happen... But Lahm, Boateng, Neuer are half the German defense. Hummels always underperforms -> this means Germany will once again be conceding header goals and probably will be the doom just like in 2010...

I dont hate Real Madrid but man its a scary thought ... Its happeninnggg... and at this point theres no much to say, cant go behind to set pieces and then not expect the best counter attacking lineup to not break you a few more times.

wut? If and only if you meant the game vs italy you are kindof right ... kindof. If you realy mean what you are saying ... you got to be kidding. Jogibear has to play Boateng and Merte. As you saw: clearly the BEST defenders in germany...

I remember Bayernfans blaming Dortmund to disgrace german football after we lost to real in the quaters.

To me, that style describes a fast one-touch play, but Bayern just keeps the ball in slow motion.

Yeah, when I was watching bayern during group play they were def playing tiki taka. They don't now though. Seems like Pep knew his players couldn't cut it and decided to mix it up.

No one repeats CL wins, not yet anyway.

I hope Atletico make it to the final because I think they have slightly more desire to attack then Chelsea and having been successful against them in Liga maybe willing to give them a game. It's like the football world is completely backwards on here. Somehow short passing attacking style play is the villain while defensive counter oriented Catennacio is great football. The problem isn't the short passing attacking style, it's the defensive setups that make these matches a snooze. Three of the four teams in the semi's have been too cowardly to try and win the game and have been content to let their opponents run into a wall of spikes. Bayern ran into whole heartedly and the Chelsea-Atletico was a wash with both teams thinking the same thing. It's been a dire semifinals especially considering the talent on display. Maybe the finals will redeem it but I doubt it.

Remember how weak they were at the beginning of the season lolol commentator agrees with me: Mario out and suddenly Bayern start crossing ^^ Did you see how Atletico Madrid started against Barça the 2nd CL game? That pressure was madness and it showed a hunger for a win more than any other team. They're certainly not less hungry than Real Madrid.

In terms of star firepower maybe, they just put out their best 11's imo although the goal scoring was more down to them getting ahead and playing counter, But I have no problem with that since they were winning and it was the best way to stay in a winning position and I have no sympathy for teams that let in goals on set pieces. If you cant focus in a CL semi then you deserve to lose Well atleast the first one. Second was pretty well executed.
