I'll be in Portugal on the 20th and I was wondering, is it possible to get tickets for the Benfica match? If yes, how do I get them? http://www.slbenfica.pt/ . It has an english version. You can buy them online and then either get them on your mobile (assuming it's not from the 90s) or pick them up at the stadium (Benfica's megastore) before the game. Tickets for the public range from 25€ to 75€. For 35€ you can get cool seats (Coca-cola and Sagres are behind the goals, MEO and TMN are the best). It's not too likely to sell out but if you're going I'd advise to get them asap. Thanks very much! Really cool to be able to get it on your phone, my club doesn't do that. 35€ doesn't sound bad either, that's not much different than what I pay for a regular game at Feyenoord. I'll likely be ordering them tomorrow. Since you probably don't have a Portuguese phone I don't know if it works too. I'd be safe and pick it up at the stadium, I did that last game when it went full and didn't have to wait in line to pick them up one hour before the game.

On a fun note, some dude called Sevilla scored against Sevilla tonight.

Sevilla Derby in Europa League next round (Betis vs Sevilla) And Betis beat FC Sevilla, too

Ah okay, I'll see if I pick them up then. Thanks for the help

I didn't expect they to win in Sevilla stadium. It was a great game, the derby

AVB also got to pad his stats against weak teams in the early stages of the Europa League and Capital One Cup.

AVB also got to pad his stats against weak teams in the early stages of the Europa League and Capital One Cup. Europa League yes, League Cup no. AVB played Villa and Hull in the League Cup, while Sherwood lost 1-2 at home to West Ham. That graphic also doesn't include today's match, and Sherwood hasn't yet lost 5-0 vs. Liverpool like AVB did (but he will at the end of the month).
No matter how you look at it, Sherwood hasn't improved things at all. Naturally he'll be protected from the English press because Jamie Redknapp is his business partner, but his tenure is an unmitigated disaster so far. After this season the club will be paying three managers thanks to this mess. It's not really a "crisis" because van Gaal will stabilize things and there's plenty of money for players he wants (hopefully 3, not 7), but it's a shame because this was the last legitimate chance at top 4. With Liverpool no longer underachieving, Spurs financially can't do much better than 5th, and 6th once Moyes is sacked Man Utd bounce back. And then there's the stadium saga, which is like reading Waiting for Godot.

Hoping to get some action in the island next week ourselves, xD.

On Sherwood, I find it amusing that he, and many others at Tottenham forums, seem to think that the solution involves shouting at the players more. Benfica won yesterday because Jesus, despite being seemingly intellectually challenged, out-strategized/tacticsized(?) Sherwood.

They were in the champions league and Lyon barely got passed the last round of Europa and didn't look at all impressive this season from what i have seen. To 4-1 in that game i think is pretty good. It was 11 vs 11 right?
I'm pretty sure it was the first time Lyon fielded their A team in european cups. Until now they were managing their efforts pretty strictly since they don't have much of a bench.

Oooo maybe that is the reason then, but still impressive to beat a champions league time that much ^_^

The correct term is out-tactic'd
The second leg I'm looking the most forward to is Fiorentina-Juventus. Gomez got a crucial away goal late in the game to give Fiorentina control of the tie. Hopefully the teams will play their strongest elevens next time.

Ill put my money on that game not ending with 22 players on the pitch.

Juventus with +14 on Roma in Serie A and with the next Serie A match being vs Genoa, still played with turnover. That was kinda lame, or stupid.

Millions of Gala fans having trouble at sleeping just because this match. im going to see so many people with Gala jersey today :3
Back to back quarter finals would be so sick but i will not get upset if we end up losing. We already reached our goal and passed through one of the hardest groups in this season.

If he plays in a bunch of matches until the end of the season, he definitely has a chance to make it to the squad, especially with Strootman out of the squad.
