Haha it seems like you waited the whole game for Neuer to concede a goal so that you can write this statement which you had probably already prepared beforehand. Too bad you chose a situation which doesn't really underline anything.
I liked the part where Neuer kicked the ball to an Arsenal player :D
Yea that would have been a better example, assuming that a single scene proves everything

Yeah his kicking yesterday was average, i mean i would of posted shit but i thought people would QQ to much. But on the form in yesterdays game he wasn't best in the world for me. However one game doesn't make a player the best or the worst. I still don't know how a keeper can be beaten at the near post!

both Robben and Martinez, such Dramaqueens. Martinez you have to lie on the ground for 2 minutes, when a hand touches your face?
btw I liked the game but it would have been much better if Arsenal had been more offensive (is that the right word? ^^).#
Bayern deliberatly not playing their best game?? no, not under Guardiola, where you have to fight to stay in the team. they have struggled against all big teams theyve played this season and this was another example. If they cant find the rhythm against teams that challenge them, then theyre only another fish in the sea.
Where exactly did they struggle?
simply cause they havent faced many big teams.
- Chealsea 2:2 , Dortmund 4:2 loss (preseason)
- against Man City they lost the second one and had to fight till last minute for winning the group - in Bundesliga they won 3:0 against Dortmund but it was much closer and could have gone the other way too - Arsenal played better than Bayern the first 30 minutes in first game -yesterdays game wasnt decided till last minute (what I mean is: there was still a 15% chance after the 1:1, for Arsenal to advance, imo). It wasnt a walkover at all
thats why they can easily drop out in the next round if they play a little below their skill

Don't forget chelsea had like 60minutes of the 2-2 with 10men and still went 1-1 to 2-1 up :D and to get hit in the 119th minute by fucking stupid Martinez the fucker Also that Chelsea was REALLLY bad back then too xD We are alot better now That Bayern team was the best 11 too by a mile. Kross Ribery Muller all playing etc. Compared to now where he seems to prefer leaving Kross out :s
I will however hastily add that this is Peps first season managing outside of Messi and co He isn't supposed to succeed so quickly. Next season they will be even better, mainly due to Lewandowski being in town. LEWANDOWSKI.......RIBERY......ROBBEN. GG
However maybe the Bundesliga is the reason they look a bit weary in the Champions league / vs better teams. Maybe they just feel like when they play a certain way they will win/score eventually due to it happening in Bundesliga vs lesser sides. It is an interesting one, but no matter what, they still won over 2 legs vs Arsenal and are in the RO8. They now have a chance to win it as anything can happen from RO8 onwards.
Well, everybody knows 10man Chelsea is way better than 11man Chelsea...
I agree, my intent was to say that Bayern is not the best team by a mile, like some people seem to suggest here. Actually their results against good teams have been a bit worrying. especially good strikers can breach that defense, which makes errors on regular basis. of course if Guardiola can maybe put all the pieces together soon, then Bayern might be unstoppable.

bayern had always problems vs english team at home.
Under Heynckes, Bayern played a lot better vs 11man than vs 10man. I always stopped to watch if opponent got a red card, it was too obvious that bayern play shit and unable to win.

Most teams play better vs. 11 than vs. 10. Its really funny.

Today either Barça or ManCity gets a good relief and the other sinks in deep shit.
I wasn't one of those people and I only watched highlights but at 1-1 Milan was playing really well and had chances to get the 1-2. Then Turan scored a lucky goal and all belief faded. Scoreline is not really representative of how close the match was. Granted, Atletico deserved to go through, but it's not like Milan didn't have chances to advance as you state it.

Not sure but these kind of shots must be a bitch to save because a goalkeeper has to assume a low cross or an attempt through your legs. Or maybe it's just Bayern keepers can't deal with it
I can't remember being as unexcited about the champions league matches as I am for these ro16 second playdays. Yeah sure the quartefinals promise to be great, but it might just as well disappoint. Also there's a decent chance we will get some matches that will have teams from the same country play each other which I'm not a fan of (in champions league). I know some people disagree on this point though. I hope next season we will have competitive games earlier in the knockout stages again.
