No they have the best team in America too. Robinho DeJong etc..what squad was playing in that game just? They did play that game July 27th though...and next one is August 4th, but flying around in short space of time must be bad no :S

DeJong played in Munich 30 mins ago, 100%. Robinho, Balotelli and Montolivo didn't play but I am sure i saw 90% of the rest of the team, they even changed 7 players in the second half.

Valencia-Milan was played at the Estadio Mestalla, Valencia's home ground.

And I'm not surprised about Dzeko. Pellegrini has continuously said that Dzeko will figure heavily in his plans. He is world class.

For all the people saying Bale is not that special, they just showed a comparison of Ronaldo in his last year at Man U and Bale last year in the prem. Bale actually outscored Ronaldo and had just as good stats.

I can see why he wants to join, but I wonder if it's actually worth it, Real has been making all star teams for a while now and have very little to show for it, he actually might have better chance of winning silverware with Tottenham.

like, I get what you guys are saying with tottenham wanting to keep him to make top 4. that way it kinda looks like a positive gamble, either bale gets them to CL and then they're more attractive and then potentially they can establish in top 4 (overtaking arsenal, which I guess every spurs fan would find incredibly delightful), or he doesn't and they sell him for almost equally much next year cuz he's just not the type of player that's likely to become worse anytime soon, rather the contrary.

the thing is that not letting bale go makes a club like tottenham, if it fails to become a first tier club, much less attractive for first tier talent. there are very good reasons why almost no clubs actually try to hold on to players against their will - even though they usually claim that they're gonna do that (to bring price higher I assume) almost no clubs actually follow through; at least not after the transfer desire has made headlines.
