Barça willing to cough up 60 million euros for Koke
The Catalan club believe he would be the perfect man to step into the shoes of Xavi, who has served as the fulcrum of the best Barcelona side of all time over the last five to ten years.

Am i just old or too german?
Too German... :/ It's so ridicilous how money is thrown around...
yep, definitely too german. If a player has la liga or epl experience that alone makes him 20million € more costly. Imagine Reus would've played his first great season with Southampton/Bilbao (random choice) instead of Gladbach. Do you think he would've been transferred for less than 30m? I don't.
Ricky Lambert to Liverpool seems a bit fishy to me. I don't see why Liverpool would need Lambert if Sturridge and Suarez are staying. I guess maybe as a back up in case one gets injured but I can't imagine Lambert wanting to go from playing every game and scoring at Southampton to sitting on the bench at Liverpool. Just seems a little odd to me.
Portugal - Greece tonight, it will be a big test for both teams. Portugal needs to test their offensive power and we get to see if we can counter like bosses.
Btw, another reminder for people not in the know, we have a World Cup forum running.
If you do not see it in your sidebar, you can turn it on in your sidebar settings here.
Funny how they got only short people for that commercial.

We're without Ronaldo. Lets see what the rest of the team is capable of.

Liverpool have holes elsewhere to plug.
Will be a brilliant backup/cup player and Liverpool was his boyhood team, he's got his dream move. Think he will be brilliant for a couple of years to be honest.

Proven at Giggs playing "ok" at 40 proves that MLS signing 30-33 year olds isn't that bad...of course not the best but Chelsea signed Shevchenko at 30 and that was a big signing at the time.
Also those teams are crazy. Szczęsny wouldn't get in my reserve Chelsea squad let alone a premiership 11 :s wow. Cech beat him to golden gloves because he played less thus he should of got in over him?
Villa's stamina is still one of the greatest.
I can still remember he running like a crazy person in the CL final. So good seeing him in top form. Shame we sold him. he's still one hell of a striker. (Fucking dumb Zubizarreta).

I didn't know it was his boyhood team. I'm starting to see his attraction to the deal for him a bit more. I guess he'll probably get more games than one might think because Liverpool will be able to/need to rotate their players and will be playing a lot more games this year. So I guess i change my mind, it does make sense.
