What he did with Bayern was so impressive. Also he discovered Müller. ^^ Müller is the perfect total football player. Do the Dutch love him btw?

Young Schweingsteiger+Lahm+Robben, and Altintop, who was better than Ribery in his prime. Well äh no. The only players that were called elite at that time were Ribery, Lahm and Müller, who was 20 i think? Badstuber is a inner CB, Demichelis wasnt faster then he is now, Van Buyten needed a 10 square meters to turn around and my mom could outrun Van Bommel. The only position which was then better tan now is at Goalkeeper, man Hans-Jörg Butt is just an awesome dude. I mean "made the most goals in CL history on his position"(i think), how many players can say that?

I prefer Demichelis and Van Buyten over Dante&Boateng because they were much more stronger. Moreover, Van Buyten was quite good at set pieces, and Demichelis was quite good at these days lol. On April 22 2014 07:04 Twisted wrote: You have to understand that a team like that has gotten better the past 4 years. All those players that still play now are leagues ahead of their counterpart 4 years ago. Back then no player in that squad was ever named as a contender for best player in the world. Schweinsteiger, Müller, Lahm have all gotten way better in the last 4 years. Now we've got people claiming half the starting formation could win the golden ball. Badstuber and Müller were just in their first year of first-team football for example. Robben basically won them everything that year on his own. And Altintop? Nah, lol. Good player, but not as good as Ribery, and I think Ribery is currently the most overrated player in the world. I understand what you mean but its not like they were no names. They played one CL quarter final and EURO final before CL final. I can't argue about Altintop though.

Additionally I dont particularly like United either but the way that Porto team tugged everyones knickers all over the pitch those 2 legs cemented for Mou football and even more so his first lieutenant Ricardo. This. 2 rounds against Florentina and United he practically won by himself, that team got carried hard and would have been lucky to win the whole thing Also that final was a perfect example of why the current 2 backs are way better than Demechelis + Van Buyten

And he made it to the CL final with these guys: + Show Spoiler + ![]() Would be very interesting to see because ManU does have like 3 players that can play a ball position system. And one of them is 40 years old ![]() Well my strongest memories of him are the toxic enviroment he created in the team and an ego beyond believe. He made it to the finals, thats right. But the price was shity football to watch. Even as a Bayern supporter i prefer good over successful football.
