Somehow they brought 1000 fans with them all the way from Belgium. Respect. Their fans were awesome too.

And Michael Laudrup. Actually, the Dane would also be a weird choice to me (cool fact: that would be his first job as a coach AND just like Villanova, he battled cancer - and won). I'm surprised that Cruyff is so low on the list. He had fantastic results with FCB twenty years ago, is idolized in Catalonia for winning first European Cup for Blaugrana, has massive respect and reputation among the players... But I guess this only shows how big is the conflict between him and Rosell. Sad, cause the guy is fantastic regardless of crazy criticism he throws on everone whenever interviewed. I just hope it will be a big name, not Rosell's third-rate employee chosen only because he's been with the club for ages. Cruijff makes no sense because he's retired and wouldn't take the job no matter the president. I don't even know why he's on the list of candidates.

I don't know much about him so I scourged through some forums for info, turns out he's a brilliant manager who likes offensive football but he uses the tactic best suited for each game, best example is the wc match paraguay vs spain, when he almost threw the spaniards out, with very solid defensive football. He's now coaching a very pleasing to watch Newells Old Boys side. I'm not that sure about Villas Boas and Luis Enrique, dunno if they are good enough.
