I'm so sad every time I see Schieber in the starting eleven.. hell in the roster. The first few days I had hopes that one day he could become a good attacker but that guy lacks so much game sense and skills. There has to be some way to get rid of him. We got a few awesome transfers but the depth still sucks. Let's hope Hofmann can establish himself fast.

Maybe, but Giroud didn't even score 1 goal in 2 games when he played in the French League. Gomez achieved that when he was at Stuttgart and younger than Giroud at Montpellier. Gomez might not be the most modern striker, but there can be no doubt that he would be a major upgrade over Giroud.

I agree though, it was puzzling that big clubs weren't lining up to sign Gomez, and it's kind of sad that a player of his caliber is moving from treble winners to a club that isn't even in the Champions League. But he apparently didn't want to go to England. He said after joining Fiorentina, "I always said that, if I left Germany, I would either go to Italy or Spain." (Source)

(Source) You are right, my mistake for not checking the last season. Still Gomez scored 43 Goals in 57 games in his last 2 seasons at Stuttgart, Giroud 33 goals in 73 games in his last 2 seasons at Montpellier ^^ And I guess Gomez knows the language and loves the warm weather. Florence IS a beautiful city, and he is rich anyway.

![]() Are the football-fans in England happy about that Mourinho is back? I dont know about the Italy fans during his time at Inter Milan but in Spain he wasn't/isn't loved.

Was a good game, Kevin DeBruyne has been the best player but he took a nasty injury after scoring his great goal (half volley running onto it outside box) his foot got caught in the turf and jarred his knee/leg/ankle so i hope he isn't injured for too long has been Chelsea's brightest spark so far. KDB is a beast. It seems that injury looked worse on a replay than it is. At least Mou says he will be fine in a week. The goal is great indeed!

I think Tom Starke is getting transfer-listed. Thiago gets his first goal for Bayern. And Ribery scores a nice goal and Pep looks almost disappointed.
