If Chelsea wins tomorrow, the top-tier triumvirate will be sealed forever, I guess. It's sad that Reds won't be there, but all things considered, there are too many holes in their lineup (Cissokho lol) to really sustain the consistency needed for that.

Also i do too think the same about them favorites for 4th HOWEVER. Bloody Everton looking so good haha! If they lose the derby which is next league game (next week is FA cup matches) then Liverpool in trouble. Everton go above them by 2 points if they win on Monday away against West Brom. So it will be interesting battle between the clubs. Liverpool still lack defenders and some better CMs (imo). Everton have Barry holding mid who is the best in that position in the league (As Yaya is not a DM he is more of a box to box mid) and then Barkley who is great talent, then back 4 that is not conceding goals and 2 wing backs who are awesome. Then have Lukaku = GG xD

Not that it in any way indicates that barcelona is "figured out", but what I got from last year was that bayern was better at everything. And then tactics don't really matter all that much. And while I think the timing of last year's match was prolly the worst possible for barcelona as they were totally dependant on messi yet couldn't depend on him for those matches, I haven't seen anything to indicate that the pendulum has swung back in their favor. Bayern if anything look even better than last year, and barcelona look about the same cept neymar makes them miss messi slightly less if he's not fit.. Tactics matter alot more than you are implying though, Bayern had a plan and they had the best squad in the world to execute that plan, those games were an example of Barca not being able to adapt or deal with a team that was able to time their pressing and counters better than anyone I have ever seen for years. Barca look a bit better the last couple of months; start of the season I wasnt to impressed. they are still poor defending quality players one on one and on the counter. Bayern break better than anyone, probably even Real, although Ronaldo in full flight is no joke, For every position they have guys who are Barca level technically and much bigger, faster and stronger pound for pound. Thats scary. That factor is hugely disconcerting for Barca not just against Bayern. Other teams that may start picking up on it and by picking up I dont mean knowing, even a pundit can know these things, making them second nature is coaching, high iq talented footballers and hard work. Easier said than done but not impossible for other top teams. Mourinho teams would be a great example. Bayern checks that list hard already. Still its interesting to see how Barca is evolving, Cesc has had a resurgence and their willingness to adjust the tempo of the games and mix it up rather than press press press, keep ball, keep ball is also something people should look out for. Most importantly they have has also had some time to not play with Messi, They have also shown a willingness to sacrifice him in big games, Both can only mean good things if it means they become more dynamic and flexible overall. the Real game is a pretty good example, Ancelloti put Ramos in midfield to hunt him and they sent Messi out on the left, Ramos had literally no fucking clue what to do, he was uncomfortable making the decision to chase him or leave his zone and the awkwardness was pretty funny if anyone payed attention. He spent so much time being useless it looked schoolboyish, it also meant he did stupid things, he does them from time to time. Bayern looks an even better outfit than last year and they are the best team in the world no question in my mind, but that said its CL and its knockout football, Both teams are up there and at the end of the day you can have a bad day or make a tactical miscalculation on any part of the pitch for a period and it will cost you.

Admittedly I haven't really seen him play much, but is he really worth twice as much as Son Heung-Min? They have dat Volkswagen money so I guess it doesn't matter. of course de bruyne is a talent, but he's never worth 20 million. but i guess that's the sum which needs to be paid for getting a players from a club which doesn't give a fuck about money. on the other hand wolfsburg is playing a really good season right now, probably might play euroleague or even championsleague next year, so volkswagen is ready to invest some euros to get players like de bruyne.

We pay what we want for class players and we were in a position where we didn't need to sell DeBruyne but the player and Wolfsburg wanted him, thus they had to pay up. That is called business not "don't give a fuck about money" lol. We in effect sold DeBruyne and bought Matic for the same price so im very happy and im sure Mourinho and the Club are. Patrick Van Aanholt struck a last-gasp winner as Vitesse moved three points clear at the Eredivisie summit on Saturday with a 2-1 triumph at PEC Zwolle. Christian Atsu had opened the scoring after three minutes WAYYY GO Chelsea Reserves :D hahahaha WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE DUDUDUDUDU xD Note: Both Aanholt and Atsu are Chelsea players ^_^

It puts far too much pressure on refs, who could never get remotely close to seeing an incident the way everyone else sees it on the TV. The thing people have to get used to, is that a foul is given because it looked like a foul to the ref at the time, not because it technically was a foul. There's no better way of putting it, because expecting a human referee using his human eyes to get decisions correct 100% of the time is absolute madness. A Dutch football journalist commented on all the bitching about the refs as wel. He said for all the mistakes the refs make the players make a lkt more and if they actually stop making those mistakes they'll win regardless. I completely agree, the refs bad decision isn't what makes you lose it's your own mistakes.

just that bayern was better player for player, and I think barcelona having a tactical advantage to the same degree bayern did wouldn't necessarily lead to them winning.one of the consistently amazing things about watching bayern though is that every player seemingly always know what to do where to pass where to run.

Dat Rosenborg team... I remember them getting a draw at Stamford Bridge. And then Mourinho was sacked...
