We haven't exactly been nice to him xD Oh well, better news for us ![]() "Matic has announced he has played his last game for Benfica and wants to re join Chelsea" TBH, I don't think professional players pay that much of attention to their treatment in the past. As long as the clubs are paying for their services and managers don't handle them like Ferguson did with Beckham, they probably don't care. Plus, even if Matic fails completely in Chelsea, he will still be free to go somewhere else and it's certainly easier to fly away from Stamford than from Portugese League. I think he's just like "This is my chance and I gotta take it cause there might not be another one". Damn, typing that made me so nostalgic about times when Eto'o held the grudge against Real and stated that he will bang the goals in Madrid's net till Perez admits that letting him go was the biggest mistake of his life.

When the competition for the award is very close, it makes sense to judge how well their teams played as opposed to further analyzing their individual contribution, especially in football where stats mean very little compared to other major sports. He made the difference for Portugal though.

Very strange, i know we bought Matic through the youth system and everything but you would of thought he would be more cagey to rejoin or wouldn't be as willing as the media are portraying it to be.,

I think Uruguay may well have 2 best strikers if you count offensive as well as defensive capabilities.
