Well Mourinho got the work rate from Mata he wanted, so I'm hoping he starts every game now.

Pretty much cost Chelsea the chance to win, we looked like another level in the 2nd half, by far the better team. Spurs didn't have a shot on goal in the 2nd half until Torres was off, such a joke.

Id argue it's two points lost that for Chelsea in the way the 2nd half was going, oh well.

It's because they wanted a more defensive midfielder on in the terms of Holtby? He better defensively than Eriksen, plus every spurs attacker in the 2nd half did nothing until Torres was sent off lol

It did look a little inevitable that Torres was going to get himself sent off. Not necessarily sure about the decision that he finally went for. But it wouldn’t have taken much longer had he not been sent of for that.

Edit: To the guy below me, Yeah you're right I forgot that. He might have made it to full time then. Could have been a close run thing.

I thought Tottenham where going to have trouble gelling all their new players together but their looking pretty good actually. Just maybe that cutting edge not looking quite there. I suspect they might just draw a few to many games they should have won to be title contenders.

Even with Torres being sent off, I'm really impressed by him. He seems to be working extremely hard under Mourinho and he's fighting harder than ever. If he just finishes a bit better which he definitely can then we got ourselves a monster striker.

Yet in the 1 game 2 spurs players were caught acting ;_;
Hardly an excuse you can use after that game! It was a derby for christ sake, its great to see foreigners actually battling it out like it means something. Yet when they do they get brandished with pointless criticism for it, and then even worst they get sent off for something that shouldn't of.

What everyone can agree on is that game was another good advertisement for English football....until the last 10 minutes, but it was a great game.

I'm not excusing it, but you need to be consistent if you want to criticize player acting. Remind us how much you told off David Luiz after his acting job against Rafael last season.

Of course my bias opinion maybe. However i don't bring peoples past actions into play until they reignite the reason to do so. Luiz this season has done nothing wrong, no Chelsea player has minus Torres with his little girl slap on Vertonghan which is a nono BUT the referee missed that and im sure the FA will slap a stupid ban on him and that will hurt Chelsea alot but oh well that is our problem.

Just annoying when things spoil games. oh well. Just my bitter after thoughts
