In another news, some big games happened last weekend! AC Milan 1-2 Napoli PSG 1-1 Monaco Some interesting results, Mr Ranerai doing a good job with Monaco and the big new squad? Guess he has practice when he was in charge of Chelsea Benitez just winning Serie A this second time round pretty easily? (so far) Also Dortmund and Bayern are both level on points at the top of Bundesliga with Leverkusen just 1 point behind in 3rd. Maybe a close season this time around? Premiership is wide open so far too, with the top 6 teams all defeated once already and some big games out of the way. La Liga is also interesting, another potentially 3 horse race...maybe if we are lucky. Atletico Madrid 100% record alongside Barcelona and Real Madrid having dropped just 2 points are 2 points adrift...but a big Madrid derby on Sunday could effect the table alot! Interesting football ahead Ranieri is doing very good even though yesterday Paris was very superior. Napoli vs Juventus, I still put Juventus ahead, they have stability and a better team overall.
La Liga, Atletico is going to do like last season, and like every team that aren't RM or FCB, meaning that they are going to lose a lot of points in January, February, and they're not going to be able to follow the pace of the 2 giants... The derby should be very interesting now that they finally beat RM after 10 years Right now, Atletico is probably superior to RM (and to FCB), but I would still bet on RM !

Everyone :D [well i think that is the case anyway, might just be me! I mean when Ronaldo and Messi can score 40goals a seasson in Premiership or even Bundesliga i will maybe change, but i don't see that. Maybe if Bale plays like shite and can't score more than he did when he was at Tottenham then ok i will change again, but atm i have no reason to doubt my judgement xD. Maybe Suarez when he joins Real Madrid in January too, or hopefully Chelsea at this rate!]

Yeah you have good points, but i don't think Juventus squad is that much better, they drew 1-1 with Inter, not saying that is a bad result, especially considering Inter look back to somewhere near respectable after they demolished the newly promoted Italian team 7-0 the weekend. However i think Napoli squad is better, position for position maybe not, but in terms of experience and squad i think they win. We will see though, and even though they only beat Dortmund when they had 10men, i did have that game as my banker for a win in week 1 of champions league ^_^ DONT FUCK WITH RAFA, in the champions league. It's like playing vs Chelsea when they /defend but imagine doing that with a good striker or two!

Arsenal have announced a pre tax profit of 6.7million for the year ending May 31st
Thought that would of been bit bigger profit to be honest, that Ozil signing must of hit them hard now then? :S Unless im reading into the wrong figures here?
Also i believe real madrid announced record profits the other day as well? Haha

Well since it's about profit, I think it's quite good. This announcement:

Wp Man Utd XD
Means tha MU got a lot of money coming in, but maybe they had even more going out, whereas Arsenal had a positive balance which I think is really nice.
Unless I am totally wrong of course.

Ahh yeah i see revenue and profit.
So which is FFP taken from the Revenue or profit as transfer fund?

So what is up with Iniesta? I'm hearing he rejected talks with Barcelona.
|
Probably wants to go to chelsea to be benched be mou.
+ Show Spoiler +He wants half a mil more, rosell keeps proving how bad of a president he is and is denying so far.

Rossell kicked his personal coach without asking him, in another show of his amazing management skills. And Valdés who is his best friend is leaving the team at the end of the year. So he is mad and not playing great, and has been benched in 3/5 games in La Liga so far.
Cesc will start sucking again (he already is) and Iniesta will bounce back, just like last year and the year before it.

Well Rossell is the guy who shipped out Fabregas to Arsenal in the first place and nearly let Messi go to if it hadnt been for the lower team coaches flipping shit at the idea, so his MBA is clearly telling him giving iniesta the money is not worth it.

I hope Rossell gets his act together for Barcelona sake. What's next? he offloads Messi?

Hahaha, Nijhuis sprinting like a boss! That said, Ajax were down 3-0 by then.

Man Utd has been so poor in attack this season. I can see why Moyes prefers Young to Kagawa now, because Young does more defensive work and doesn't try to do anything fancy, he's basically been turned into another Park Ji Sung. Moyes doesn't appreciate creativity and still plays a really rigid and defensive style. Besides the fact that the entire team looked really sluggish and unprepared vs. City, I think the most common theme this season has been that no one up front can get any service. Time and time again Welbeck had to drop much deeper than he should to get a sniff of the ball. Crosses have only worked vs. much weaker defenses like Leverkusen. There's a huge gap between the strikers and the two holding midfielders who are used to sitting deep. Carrick isn't a box to box type and Fellaini is slow, so there's really no way to get the ball into the box aside from crosses, but then there are never enough people in the box and VPS isn't very good in the air. Young is also kind of a poor crosser. This system is clearly not working. Then add the poor defending and I can't see us doing well.

Theo Walcott is out two weeks, meaning he'll miss the crucial home CL clash with Napoli : / At least Serge Gnabry and Ryo finally get their chance to step up and earn more playing time.
The team is going to look great after the next international break with Arteta, Cazorla, Walcott, and maybe Podolski all fit again.

Yeah, it almost seems as if Moyes thinks he's the manager of a red Everton.

Florentino Perez tells Spanish radio station that Manchester United made a bid for Gareth Bale in the summer
Gus Poyet is now the "front runner" for the Sunderland Job

Pérez also said Bale signing was cheap. The same guy who greatly contributed to the spanish financial crisis with his building company and his friends, the corrupted politicians and bankers. How much more shit can the spanish people take...
56% of the people under 25 years are jobless btw. 26.3% in total in the country.

And whatever Perez did or not with his building company he's leading RM financially solid so I don't see a problem in that regard.

Guardiola was going to take a break anyway I thought and letting a 33 year old Abidal go isn't really bad at all.

But Pep was tired of Rosell, everybody knows that in Barcelona. He never said it directly in an interview but it's not difficult to guess from what he said :D Concerning Abidal they told him they would renew his contract whenever we would see him again on the field after his surgery. And they didn't. It's not a bad decision when we talk about sport but this is not how Barcelona treat their loyal players... He wasn't even asking for a raise...
Rosell was the guy that suggested that we let Valdés go when Laporta became president. You can guess why Valdes doesnt want to talk about a renewal...
|
Guardiola was Laporta's loyal friend, who is the eternal rival of Rosell xD
It surprised me that Pep actually stayed for one long year with him, considering all the shit they dropped on him via the media, both before and after winning the elections. They went as far as saying Pep and one of his friends were gay, even when the guy is married and has children.
Marca is doing a survey on Valdés best save: http://www.marca.com/debate/2013/09/3939/prevotaciones3939.html
