da fuq, that is insane, and seems to fly against common sense, until you remember he was training exclusively in the gym for 18 months.

Honestly I think he could have played the entire playoffs at a minimum. He just has head issues, and is really heavily influenced by his..."posse" for lack of a better word.

I mean, as you said he's only 25, I'd rather have 1 non-season than a back-too-soon permanently injured Rose. He's looking great in the preseason, I'm not even mad as a Bulls fan.

It feels bad to waste another year of Noah/Deng's primes though. And if the Bulls hurt the Heat a bit more we could have gotten the Pacers/Spurs final I wanted

Not as big of an upside but I think that a year without Rose forced Thibs and the Bulls to really figure out how to work an offense without him, so while he's still our offensive focus we have a couple other things we can do on offense without/in addition to him.

My Face when
On-topic. Pretty excited for the Rockets-Pacers game later.
I'd probably watch it live in the arena if it was a regular season game, but I don't think going to a preseason game is worth it.

The bulls are gonna dominate! I can't wait till Noah comes back into their line up

Well, in what I watched of the game, Monroe still looked slow and Smith took a terrible jump shot.
That's not really saying much though, from one terrible preseason game against a non-NBA team when leading by 40pts. One thing I am worried about is Drummond and turnovers/passing. I know his 1.7 TO/36 got people excited last year, but I think it was artificially deflated because of his little playing time and how little defensive attention he was getting.
True, the offense isn't running through him and he'll mostly be an elite garbage man, but from what I've seen he's a pretty bad passer and I'm worried he's going to struggle against teams that are quick with help rotations, since they'll be able to gamble on him as he won't be able to pass out of it.

iirc wasn't your coaching staff talking about playing Smith/Monroe/Drummond together with Smith at the 3? I can't imagine that going well
