Depends on the TV coverage (I know Russia gets quite a bit of money from it), but yeah it isn't as high as it should be IMO. Still a classy tournament and you can see that the fans/players care. | ||

Fucking get in! Such slow start to the game by Chelsea, but Benfica were trying to pass it in, really need to try and work Cech which is pretty poor. But defo Benfica were best in 1st half. Then finally in the 2nd half Chelsea dug in, started to close down the Benfica players and pounced! Great goal by Torres (poor defending of course) and it looked like we could score more after Jesus made some crazy subs. Playing Gaiten LB? WTF. But they got a penalty which was right and Cardoza hammered it past Cech! Then i thought fuck this is going extra time written all over it again FUCK!! Then Lampard nearly made me scream the house down with that boomer, holy shit! Would of been some goal that. But after getting our corner where Chelsea are ALWAYS dangerous with Luiz/Ivanovic/Cahill and JT if he is on the pitch, get a good delivery in (but some poor marking from Benfica too) and Ivanovic scores a header worthy of winning the cup! It's a great tournament because it gives teams that are too small for the UCL a chance to compete for a meaningful European trophy. According to Wikipedia Chelsea get 5m euros for winning (plus all the money for the previous rounds), and Benfica get 2.5m euros. That's not a bad payout. | ||

Indeed he is but I guess people tend to hate on Fernando for no reason and say he is a bad player, amazing feat, the both of them. I think there is only one season he (Torres) has scored more goals than this one but I'm not sure. Anyway, BANE MY CAPTAIN <3 what a player, they screwed him out of a european final last year but he came back to fuck shit up | ||
