...... is what I would've said a few years ago. Now, I don't really blame players for wanting to leave Arsenal. If a player wants to win trophies, and that's not realistic at Arsenal, he has to leave, right? I guess they're making him play out the contract, in the hopes that they can convince him to sign a new one later on.

As an Arsenal fan it doesn't even pain me to say that, and part of me wants the club to finish outside the top 4 this season, as the board seems to be happy to scrape along in mediocrity as long as we make the CL every year. Maybe competing in Europa would open their eyes beyond the token b-signing and random french dude we get every year.

He was captain of the french team during the euro because he was one of the few reliable, thoughtful players we had On another topic, the 2 candidates we know of for the french team manager job are Deschamps and ... Zidane As I understood it Lloris is really good. Why are Lyon trying to cash in?

FFP is european competition only, isn't it? And besides that, FFP isn't gonna suddenly make clubs fall, it's apparently quite easy to get around FFP. Unless you mean, own the premier league by being most FFP compliant?

Don't be ridiculous. Man Utd would win pretty much every year like we did in the 90s/early 00s. The only reason we lose is because of Chelsea and Man City's financially doping.
