So as for personal recommendations i would say Ashley Williams from Swansea, great CB who can play, strong and used to the physicality of the premier league will only help him when it comes to playing in a less physical La Liga. Would love to see him get the chance. Other than that i don't really know. There is the Hummels rumor but i can't see him leaving just yet.

Edit: Just saw rumors that indicate there's a very high chance he will go to Arsenal this summer.

Fabianski is likely to leave and Szczesny is not quite up to the standard of goalkeeping Arsenal should look for. We need to sign another keeper anyway, and an upgrade from our current #1 would be more than welcome. There are tons of rumors that Arsenal are signing QPR's Julio Cesar. I hope they are true. And yeah Ashley Williams at Arsenal would be pretty awesome since he plays in a team similar to them. There are rumors that Wenger is interested in Liverpool's Martin Skrtel and that he has made a bid for Freiburg's Matthias Ginter. Also, Per Mertesacker. That is all. If Barça recruits Mathieu and nobody else for the CB position, it will mean that they spent a lot more than the 57M€ they announced on Neymar, and that they have no more money to invest on the position we need to reinforce the most... Alba + Adriano, Alves + Montoya, there is no way Mathieu could play as a wing back, and in the center there would still be Puyol, Piqué and Mascherano before him. Add Bartra, and you have 4 better CB players than Mathieu... There is just no logic in that transfer. If it happens it would really be disappointing... but it would not be such a big surprise unfortunately... With the money they want to invest (less than 15M€) on the CB, I would pick N'Koulou (Marseille) or Sakho (PSG), both very good, young, cheap, and probably easy to convince to join a club like Barça...

Ugly. Just kind of tacky and "meh". I feel like there are a lot of ugly kits coming from the Premier League/England this summer (national kit is meh and a rip-off of the old German kit, Liverpool away/thirds look horrific, now this).

According to Wikipedia there are (maybe) 30 countries that have a red, white and blue flag... my guess is the marketing department at Adidas/Chelsea is trying to suck up to all those fan bases ![]() But then again its based off a 60's away kit apparently: + Show Spoiler + ![]()

Chelsea had white away jerseys last year too though, right? I don't remember them ever wearing the white ones though. If they weren't wearing the blue, they wore those cool black kits.

![]() Edit: I like Mathieu. He is solid, fast and good in the air-play, where Barça always gets wrecked. If we don't get David Luiz I would get him. Hummels next year hopefully.
