None for Santana. He could have left last year for free, he signed a new 1yr contract and he was garanteed a transfer after this season. He did nothing wrong.

In other news: Real Madrid will, most likely, buy Carvajal back from Leverkusen. I think the backlash for Götze will be bigger. At least right now, so close after the cl-finals I can't imagine hating on Santana. Just before the final I listened to the bvb-malaga netradio again and it makes Santana immortal. As for Götze... let's be honest: he's been injured for years, he told us that he can imagine retiring in Dortmund, he suddenly turns around and says "screw you".... Might just be my way to get done with the situation but looking back I feel that the loss of Kagawa and Sahin were at their time far worse. Another topic: Media say Dortmund might be interested in Barcelonas Defelou. I'm not too interested in their roster so I never heard of him. Did he do anything special yet? His market price is estimated to be 15million.... I always wonder where those numbers come from. His performance might be similar to Marco Reus but he brought a team nobody expected to Europe while Defelou scores in the second spanish Liga. No way any german player from the 2. Bundesliga or from Bayerns amateur team would ever be estimated at 15million (I guess. wait for it somebody will prove me wrong : ) Deulofeu is the 'new Messi' in la Masia. He has almost the same profile, he plays on the wing and moves toward the center to score. He likes individual plays but he's also good at creating nice assisting passes. He is not so disciplined and sometimes abuse invidividualism, but I think that with a coach like Klopp, he could become really good. Barca payed for Neymar, but we had the same profile in la Masia and for free... Just not as flashy, marketing, etc... 15M is because he signed a new contract recently and they didn't want to lose him. Anyway, selling him would be a big mistake as he can become one of the best player for the team in the next years, so they'd probably prefer to lease him a few years...
|
Also that guy was the reason the youth spanish team won the last euro cup against greece(yes finally we have some attacking talent coming yeii! lol). I watched the final and it was pretty obvious that 21 players belonged in the young squad of their teams except him.

Roberto Martinez leaves Wigan
Roberto wants to move on and I have got to accept it. Everton rang me and I said they have permission to talk to him. I would never stop Roberto talking to football clubs. We will let him go but he's on a 12-month rolling contract so if he moves someone will have to buy him out of his final year. We are still friends, we will always be good friends and he will always be a friend of Wigan Athletic. source
really hoping everton snaps him up, really want an FA-cup title...

Beñat is the best player of Betis (They are 7th right now and they will play europa league next year, a good year for one of my favourite teams ). He is a great midfield, but he was in better condition in the first half of the league (when Betis was 4th), the second half was not so good.

I´m sorry i can´t take people seriously that are mad at Götze or Bayern for the transfer.
At first Dortmund fans seems to forget about a guy named Marco Reus you might remember him from the final because he was fucking awesome. 2011 Dortmund used the same buy-out clause to buy him for 18 Million €. It was exacly what Götze and Bayern did. Do you think Gladbach was happy about this? I don´t think so. So please stop these we are the good, the other the dark side shit.
At second this is professional sport. Please name me 1 club that has success over a long period of time without acting like that. It´s just how this business work. Dortmund would do exacly the same if they would have the same money as Bayern or Barca or Real has. And Götze is 20 years. Remember what shit you say back then without beeing asked the same question 300 times a day.

It was aimed both to destabilize Dortmund before the Real Madrid game, and take attention away from Hoeneß' tax problems. Dortmund bought Reus during the winter break if I remember correctly, so it's not a similar situation.

It's sad that some players like Michu get snubbed like that, but I guess pretty much every country's coach plays favorites like that, unfortunately (like how shit players such as Andy Carroll and Jermain Defoe get call ups for England while Rickie Lambert is left in the dust).

Is there any proof that bayern released the information? Yes if it happend like you two discribe it it would be really silly and a shame but at least Dortmund won 4:1 against real the next day so it wasn´t that bad . (By the way the support of the fans at that game was awesome even with the information that Götze is leaving).
Bayern uses buy outs only to weaken their opponents and thats evil but if dortmund does it they really need the player so it is ok? And Götze is not an upgrade for Bayern? Thats a pretty weak agrument tbh. In the past you are right they did this but it was more a side effect for the lack of scouting and concept. They weren´t able to find talent at this time so they buyed players that beated them. Best example for this is Roy Makaay who no one knowed until he knoked them out of CL.
Maybe another thing for my point: Please call me a player of the curent roster that was buyed to "weaken the opponent".
The only 2 i could imagine are Neuer (from Schalke, not really a direct opponent with their money and management problems) and Luiz Gustavo (from Hoffenheim which almost went to league 2 this year).
Götze didn´t go for the money. He could go to Real or Man City or PSG or somwhere at Dubai and would earn more. He goes for the team, which will compete for the CL title every year. And he goes for Guardiola who trained that guy from Barca you might have heared of a couple of years ago with the same size playstile and skillset.

No club buys a player to solely weaken a rival, but it is definitely taken into account and is reflected in the transfer price (compared to transfers between clubs from different leagues). Not that it matters in this case since Bayern paid the buyout clause.
But it's a bit naive to think that PSG or Real would have paid more than Bayern for Götze. 7 milllion € for a 20 year old is quite ridiculous.

1) Reus grew up and played in Dortmund before going to Gladbach.
2) Reus was a serious upgrade for Dortmund (no, Götze is not).
3) Reus was bought during a break.
4) A Munich source leaked the info the day before Dortmund faced RM in the CL semi's.
5) Götze just recently signed an extension and told the BVB community that he could see himself retiring there.
6) And on and on and on.
This topic was hashed out a month ago. The situations are similar in the fact that there was a buyout clause. That's about it. It's much more similar to Neuer leaving Schalke.
Oh, and "it's normal" isn't an excuse.
