I disagree, a league is to measure performance over the season and not team vs team so goal diffrrence over direct confrontation result is fine imo. | ||

And you can have a very regular season and have a low goal difference because you are more defense oriented...The French team of Marseille is the perfect example this year, they've been winning all of their games 1-0. First they score and then they just control the game. 21 WIN/7 DRAW/8 DEFEATS and just +8 goal difference. They've been really regular all season... | ||
