Messi finally has his first vacation in over 4 years and has a pretty big chance of scoring his first hattrick in the first league game. Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

And indeed Twisted, most of the players i've seen, Prem games and Ronaldo in particular look really lackluster. The whole Madrid side in general looked tired before the game started. Messi will probably out shine mr Ronaldo for a good few weeks before he is back to his best me thinks.

Sociedad not the best defending at times. Pedros goal was pobably the only one wih a genuine forced error. As for the Madrid game i think they played well , passing, movement, pace was all there. Maybe no final produt but Valenia quite lucky to hold out and are a pretty good team anyway. I wouldnt be worried at all going forward if i were Madrid although dropping points is never fun. Also watch out for Greizman for france possibly in the future if he has a decent season. Kids got skills. On August 20 2012 05:09 Happystreet wrote: Omg Messi blew that so hard he is so overrated. Now that Barça can play at 9 PM and the fact that it's probably a bit cooler in Barcelona because of the sea nearby and it being more to the north might be the cause why Barça and Messi in particular look very fit compared to Madrid. Btw: dat pass : O, too bad it was offside.

He saw Puyol being a bit shaky and introduced Pique and saw Cesc having a shit game and subs him for Iniesta. Pep would've never made such an early sub and when subbing for another midfielder instead of subbing Cesc he'd sub out Pedro or Tello and stick Cesc into attack. That was the only thing I hated about Pep, his subs were so bad. Imo those were predetermined rotations, winning easy means give puyol a rest, iniesta in good form doesnt need a start. cesc played fine i dont know what anyone was expecting of him he helped control the flow and the tempo. I dont kow what you saw last season but this is a fairly regular occurence in league games for Barca even under Pep. Ofc the false 9 thing will be less frequent since thy have solid options for a front 3 again Cesc can just be a regular playmaker with an eye for goal. A role he performed fine today.

And im tellin you it was pretty similar last year. Most of the big game adjustments you are talking about were circumstantial, injuries, plyers not in touch. Doesnt seem appear to me you saw to many games if ou havent noticed.

I just said that by his first game Tito is making better subs than Pep/Tito would make. Also remember how late Pep would sub someone out? Like he wouldn't make a sub until it was like 75th minute and that happened a lot sometimes. Surely that Tito himself didn't choose subs without Peps consent.

Well regardless of wether thats true or not (i dont know), ill take your word or it, but my point is you dont have to know that to see the style is the same for comfortable league games. I think theyll rotate like for likes a bit more heavily this season though. That was a genuine problem last year subs will prbably play alot longer.

Not the best of sources I suppose but they don't just spread nonsense like that without cause. Wouldn't make any sense to make that up out of thin air.

Well that's the way I see it, maybe my thought is flawed and its common practice in other teams too, I have no clue tbh.
