And before all that (or probably during all that)

We have...
European Under 21 Championships
Confederations cup 2013
World Cup Qualifiers (for certain teams in June!)

Adam Maher is going to do well in Europe, but it's not going to be with AZ I feel. Unfortunately I think Ajax are very close to snapping him up once they sell Eriksen in the summer, but I'd love for him to join Feyenoord to form a partnership with Vilhena and Clasie.

That's good to hear. He'll do well to play for a big Champions League club like Ajax or PSV before he inevitably gets bought by some team from England, or Real/Barca or something.

Spanish mates, dis true?

I don't know but Monaco were recently bought by the 19th richest man in the world or something like that, they have Claudio Ranieri as their coach,.... so it could be true. The only thing I don't understand is why Monaco more than a Champions League club, his salary must be pretty damn high

Plus, Monaco can get away with paying much higher wages for their players because foreign players don't have to play income taxes there. The other clubs and FFF are trying to change that, which is funny because people only give a shit now that Moncao is good lol.

Anyway, I think Martinez is going to replace Moyes at Everton considering Wigan are probably going to be relegated. As for the players United will acquire from Everton, Fellaini and Baines for sure.

You must of forgot Newcastle
They offered Alan Pardew a 6 year contract at the beginning of this season, and well look how bad that turned out. Again Newcastle find themselves in a relegation fight because of how poor they have been this season. Yes they managed to get to the Europa League quarter finals, but they wont be in Europa any time soon with the way they are playing XD

That's quite sad. I could understand their problems when in the first half of the season when they had a ton of injuries, but there's no reason that team should be underperforming now, especially with all the money they spent in January.

Excited for the coming months of international football. Still got my tickets to see USA v Belgium, then a few days later USA plays Germany and more WCQs. Unfortunately we aren't in the Confederations Cup this time, but I'm excited because the last one was awesome!

True, it's perfectly french... Nonetheless, it would be normal to pay the same taxes as their opponents since they're playing (or they will be playing next year) in the same league. Same rules for everyone!

I've never been a fan of these clubs getting bought by rich people and becoming 'good' only because of money like Chelsea, MCity, PSG, Malaga, and now Monaco; but for french football it's really really good!
Now we're going to have 2 big teams and when the other teams like Lyon or Lille will have finished building their own stadium and earn a little more money from it, we should have a much more interesting league...

Chelsea and M.City were bought and invested huge tons of money to buy titles, the 2 Spanish ones built themselves, won titles, and also used tons of money that they won by themselves to sustain their success. Their debts come from poor financial management... If you don't see a difference between how the clubs were built, well... I don't even know why I answer a troll like you :o

Alan Pardew currently has a contract until 2020 or something stupid. Maybe longer.

Yeah he signed a 8- year deal last summer iirc.

Why is holding debt so evil by itself? Or am I missing some big scandal here? How did they use tax money?

No, it's a topic that comes back every year since I follow football (for about 15 years). But yeah, the FFF and the Ligue finally decide to act upon it at the most convenient timing... Easier to make money out of the "new Chelsea" than a Ligue 2 side...

Lol but let's be fair, there's nothing right about one team in a league not having to have its players pay tax. It is surprisingly lazy that the French system has taken this long to deal with it. I thought the French were against rich people with unfair rules, since as you chopped a bunch of their heads off a couple of hundred years ago.

Well we were avant-gardist 250 years ago, now we're kind of enjoying our life in our happy country where everybody has the same chance in life etc etc :D:D:D
It's always been the same in France, and probably in other countries as I believe it's just standard human behavior... When everything's good, we don't find useful to look into the suspicious things... But when it gets bad, we go on a witch hunt like since the economical crisis, we've been looking for rich people that were not giving their money to our nice government... Something that we didn't care about just 10 years ago...

Now all the french clubs are in a difficult time, even the big ones like Lyon which was doing great just 3 years ago, and now is playing with youngsters without talent (except for some few exceptions)... And the presidents of these clubs CANNOT (oh nonononoonno) accept that Monaco, new rich, compete in 'their' league without following the same financial rules... I agree with them, but it's really easy to do it now and claim 'economical fairness', when 10 years ago we were happy that they reached the CL finals... Glad I'm leaving outside of this country now :p

Monaco where good in the early 00s remember! Chelsea's first season with Abramovich, semi final vs Monaco, and they beat us! The beast that was Morientes played for them and Givet he was so pro xD They also had Evra and Adebayor xD
They were good back then but where crippled with debts and disappeared and eventually got relegated. They are also from one of the nicest cities in the whole of Europe! All be it expensive as fuck xD

And Marquez, Giuly, Rothen, and most importantly, Dado Prso. This guy was one hell of a striker

What a simplistic view of things. They both have more than 100 years, they both are two of the teams in the world with more supporters, "supporter clubs" and fans. They have two old and really big stadiums that are usally full, etc.

You can't say that they are great because the unfair "tv rights divison" in the last 10 years, because is not true. They were big already before that, and they have a great history that have been built slowly.

Wut? RM and Barca are owned by the socios. They elect the president and everything... You cannot buy these clubs...
Real means Royal but it's never been run by the royal family...
