Yea I was really hoping they would score, been a cracker of a game.

That was some quality football, Touré's runs were so pro. Just awesome football to watch.

Bad taste in my mouth after that conclusion.

Chris Foy is a joke. Aguero with a two-footed stomp on Luiz while Luiz was on the ground, but he doesn't get sent off. Then a stonewall penalty on Torres when Kompany grabs his shirt and tugs him back. Probably didn't get the penalty because Torres didn't go to ground and stayed on his feet like a man.

Like how is that NOT a sending-off. The gif doesn't show it but Aguero even got up and said some crap to Luiz afterwards.

Thats probably a big reason, the other is he cant really see it since the scuffle is on the far side.
Yet more justification for the extra official on the goal line (that actually does shit). Linesman cant call that either.

PSV 2-3 Ajax, Ajax has a 5 point lead on nr2 Vitesse now so they pretty much won the league.

Aguero is a disgusting individual and then for Chris Foy to be smiling directly afterwards

Hah yeah such domination in the game. Scoreline is actually modest.
Go Ajax! Three time champion in a row coming up! Hopefully next year we'll finally get a better CL draw lol.

Yeah, well-deserved victory by Ajax, but I was hoping for a 2006/2007-type ending of the season, which was so tense.

Referee Chris Foy awarded Chelsea a free-kick at the time but did not issue any further punishment.
And because the incident was dealt with by the match officials, the FA rules do not allow for retrospective action. FA showing again what a fucking joke of an organisation they are.
|
Well they have that rule and precedent to follow it, so it's technically fair. I just hope the FA realizes how stupid it is and changes it, but I doubt they will until a star (English) player gets hurt.

Yeah, i mean they have a stupid rule in place and they do stick to that. But fuck me, times are changing stop that rule and start banning these players who keep making poor tackles. I think there has only been one case this season where a player has been banned following a poor challenge. Which i believe was Robert Huth for his "elbow" on some player in the box which was pretty nasty.
Just need to change the rule for the start of the next season.

the lack of retroactive punishment is the biggest farce imaginable. I can promise you once players and clubs start getting stung by it only morons like Joey Barton will be left still swinging elbows and stamping.

Cuz it crap game :W Didn't look very appetizing on paper, however the game itself isn't bad for a 0-0. Pretty much a midfield battle though.
