I saw a pretty sick analysis from a guy in a chelsea forum about why that was a really bad idea...but meh...he still looks pretty exciting to me. If it's true, and also if it's true that we will either be bringing in Willian or Hulk...holy shit Roman has gone spend-happy after winning the CL. I personally wish someone in the Prem would look into the possibility of signing Seydou Doumbia. I really want to see him in the Prem. Lot of people are saying he is the hottest brazillian prospect. More so than neymar :O.

Not gonna pretend to be the expert on brazillian kids though, although apparently he got the brazillian NT number 10 shirt which is a big deal.

A guy on Chelsea youth books for years, didn't look like he was going to make it, went to Swansea in the championship scored 6goals in 9games for them then goes to Roma and scores 9 in 24. He isn't an established player to be picking up, he is a huge risk imo, he could quite easily turn into DiSanto who plays for Wigan who is really poor in terms of conversion rates. Borini kicked ass last season, I'd consider it a good deal (which means it's a bad deal, for me ![]() I'm very sad Juan is leaving Roma, he's one of my favourite defenders. ![]()

You can't attract the names when that happens. Then all of a sudden you turn into a selling club ![]() Also current squad doesn't look to bad either, looking on Wiki just. Squad List 12-13

If the key players remain uninjured throughout the season they can get a good spot in the league. ![]() Yea but those are all hole plug signings.A good season for me sees likes of Lamela (possible) and Boriello (unlikely)stepping up you kinda already know what your going to get with the rest of the squad, the teams really Europa league caliber maybe sneaking a CL spot at best if they play way beyond themselves. No Scudetto in that team though. Ranieri did a good job with them. Winning stuff is just not what he does. He makes teams playing badly play ok. Thats his thing. No one signs Ranieri thinking hes going to win them anything.

Schalke could have gotten a really good price for him after the Euros but he is too important for the team as Schalke has CL ambitions. Source (in german): http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/bundesliga/startseite/571929/artikel_papadopoulos-laesst-milan-abblitzen.html

Also, Bor. Mönchengladbach and Twente Enschede finalized the transfer of Luuk de Jong. Gladbach is to pay up to € 15 million for their new striker. @NuclearJudas: Guess it's about salary - Mönchengladbach can afford to pay pretty well after selling half of their team (especially Reus, Dante), having low all-around costs and surprisingly being able to qualify for CL this year.

Edit: Oh yeah, forgot about them qualifying for CL. And Zlatan Ibrahimovic confirmed to have signed on for PSG by his agent and Leonardo. Milan will have to secure some good players to avoid a big drop, methinks.

Confirmation that Demsey has joined Liverpool. Not sure how I feel about this tbh. Feel like the American owners have had a lot to do with it.
