Personally I feel the challenges Fitocracy added are kinda dumb. I, like most everyone else, am on a program, and I'm not going to drop my program just to compete in a pointless challenge. I don't see how a challenge can fit with everyone's programs and still be "fair" other than something silly like "see who gets the most points in a week." (Even that would just encourage overtraining)

As ShadowDrgn said, those challenges are kinda pointless and I doubt many TL'ers care about it. If there is demand I can add a challenge like who can bench or deadlift the most. I think the challenges are, much like the rest of the site focused on getting people who are not already regular gym goers to be more active. While I would have no use for them, I can see them being great tools for a lot of people that I am friends with - maybe i'll use up some of my ten invites on those people. Just wanted to drop by this topic though, and say that I'm going to be active now, and stop dropping the average of the group. Got the site bookmarked, and I've used it after every workout this week. Should be fun.
