Too busy to update. Press and bench nearing 100lbs. 145 squat. 160 dl.

122 pounds. Up from 98 when I started.

Oh. And my row is at like 100.

Dude considering all the metal you got in you + what you looked like a few months ago, I'm seriously AMAZED that you're OHP'ing 95lbs (I have 50lbs on you - and no metal inserts - and can only OHP 125lbs).

Damn bro, look at you! Now aren't you glad you finally took the advice of the thread to stop over thinking, and just get shit done? I weigh 170-ish, and only bench 145/press 100.

Gym closed tomorrow for 4th of july. I'm dying inside.

I've decided to get serious about mobility and stretching. Mobility WOD is currently at 57 pages so I'm going to try and work through a page a day until I'm caught up. Hopefully I'll be nice and limber by the time I'm done in about 3 months. I'm kind of inspired by the google talk eshlow posted a few pages back about working on mobility/body positioning at your desk.

Hi guys, I'm back.

Just returned from a 6 week stint looking after one of our mining depots, I spent every night drinking and the food was generally always unhealthy. There was nothing in the town except for fast food, pubs and trillions of pounds of iron ore.

I am probably the unhealthiest and heaviest I have been since I initially lost all my weight and got into shape. At my peak I was 154lb sporting a six pack, I have since put on probably 8-10lb of muscle. I am currently around 182lb which means I need to lose about 16-18lb of fat.

This is a goal which I will achieve, period. In order to achieve it I made the following decisions.

I will stop drinking fairly immediately, limiting myself to a few casual drinks 1-2 times a week rather than you know.. 7 days a week.

I also went to work this morning and resigned from my role, the endless travelling, hotels, restaurants and lack of routine and stability was one of the main reasons for my terrible diet and drinking.

Starting Wednesday I will also start going back to the gym at least 5 times a week. I went out and bought about $300 worth of meat, vegetables, eggs and milk today.

Wish me luck boys, I want to be one of you guys. A beastly, sexy creature once again I will be.

The life of a miner is a tough one indeed. A few of my mates have just moved out west to work around the mines. It'll be interesting to see how their bodies have changed when I see them in August.

You'll lose that fat in no time. Summer's not for 5 months so even if it takes a bit longer then it doesn't really matter.

After a week of paleo, changes are very apparent. Down to 180 from like 187, and not much of an appetite. I go to eat food, and end up throwing it away just because I'm either not hungry or don't have an appetite. Alien feeling, but it feels awesome. I know a lot of the weight lost will be water weight, but at the same time, I can already tell a huge difference in my body comp.

@Dalguno; you asked my like 15 pages back if I'd ever used Vibram 5-fingers. Yes, they are what I normally wear for running and lifting. But I went on vacation and didn't pack them because I had just run in them before leaving and were gross LOL. I got some blisters on my toes now from 100% barefoot run on Sat.

My friend is looking for a good bench routine. I've been subtly (or not so subtly) trying to steer him towards squatting and deadlifting. But he's been wanting to reach a 1.5 BW bench before the end of the summer. He's 210lbs now and benches ~250lbs iirc. Any good routine for increasing bench? I think I've sold him on starting to to deadlifts too. Still working on squat but that might take a while. He'd be an amazing squatter if he were to start it though.
