So my surgeon is saying I Shouldn't, those at UCSF are saying I should. I meet with the people at UCSF for a second opinion on monday regarding the procedure. Probably will have it done there. Great so see that it had some impact. Will be curious to see how it goes. @FFGen: I'd prolly shave every hair on my body before I shave my chest. I guess it is a pride thing lol. I think those spots are there to say you shoudn't do it again ...still please continue. I'm laughing my ass off :'D

(btw posting from the tl.net app, looking awesome) are u drinking enough water? i had a phase of shit sleep (like 2 weeks?) and didnt really identify the cause IIRC. i tried drinking more water and peeing before bed coz i seemed to need to pee reallly badly after waking up after a few hours. and i also realised my flatmates were sometimes slamming the shit out of the front door at 8am and 9am (jeez...i usually try to close the front door by sticking the key in so i dont have to slam it to make the lock click). dont read fitocracy!!! did you ever post before and after pix? i havent tried the tl ap yet but i use dolphin browser and tl browses very well for me in its mobile form. will have to try the ap sometime tho!

(due to them usually having a shitter diet). I'm just wondering because my sister has type 1.

I'm just wondering because my sister has type 1. Well, they talk about insulin resistance in the summary, which would be type 2 rather than type 1 (autoimmune). Your sister might want to look into the paleo diet regardless, though, it's excellent for autoimmune stuff, a lot of which can be related to leaky gut.

Again, celiac disease is an official diagnosis which hits somewhere like 1 in 133 of people. ^ You may be gluten intolerant or whatnot. Although I know little on the subject, it's a major point of discussion in this thread, so rest assured somebody else will detail it for you ![]()

I've been dieting steadily for the past couple months. Just working on eating less and exercising more really. I've been tracking my calories using myfitnesspal.com. I'm pretty much eating the same stuff as per usual, just less of it. My calorie goal is like an allowance, I only have that much to play with in a day. Consequently, when previously I got hungry, i'd go make myself some mi goreng or whatever, now I'm eating an apple or having a banana. I've also joined a Hockey team and am trying to get out running a couple times a week as well. Recently i've been pretty slack however, as we're in the middle of exams at Auckland Uni. When I started, I weighed in at 99kgs, and I'm currently sitting at 91.8kgs. I've been using a site that tracks your daily weight and plots a 10 point moving average. At first the daily fluctuation would put me off a lot, but now I think "as long as i'm below the green line, i'm making progress". Here is my chart, which starts a couple weeks in: ![]() I've tried losing weight a number of times before, but i've always struggled sticking with it. I'd get demotivated once, eat way too much, and that'd be it. I've gone massively over my calorie goal a couple of times, but I just think to myself "oh well, i'll get back on the horse tomorrow". Quite honestly, It all seems so easy I almost feel like I have to be doing something wrong. Anybody have any criticisms?
