fucked up my routine recently due to busyness/lazyness/disorganisation/nutrition. got to the gym for two ~30 minute sessions doing some random squats, press, deads, chins, since my decent session on the 9th. should be going for a proper session right now but gonna leave it till tomorrow so i can eat and wake up properly (closes at 2pm on sundays) :/
diet is has been absolutely pure for 3? weeks now, except last night i treated myself to chocolate milkshake and cheesecake yoghurts. god damn does this shit taste good when you've had weeks of nothing but beef.
to be honest i dont think my diet (only dairy, beef, veg) has improved my skin problem/sebbhoreic dermatitis. i dont feel like its had any impact. really annoying.
lets end with a positive....definately absolutely going tomorrow to do squats (*sniffle*) , bench or press, deads, lat pulls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ah jesus. To win a championship in table tennis, Boll has to go through 3-4 chinese players in a row, and at least one of them will always play like he is out of his freaking mind. That was this guy today, he just hit every single goddamn shot. Nothing you can do.
Now I feel better. I needed to vent my shattered hopes somewhere.

I'm no expert so I'll stick with the obvious stuff. Put tension in the body and then start the motion.. The bottom half of the movement should resemble a deadlift. He's starting to pull way too early. You should only start to pull with your arms once your body is fully extended and you've already generated power through your hips.
Yes, squeeze, not yank, the weight off the floor. he's going to tear his biceps
Hey guys, I could use some help/advice with an injury. Last thursday I was close-grip bench pressing and on the last heavy set I heard a pop/crack noise from my right shoulder. Now any pressing motion gives a sharp pain in my front shoulder. Today was leg day but I tried some presses (overhead and bench) to see how my shoulder was doing and it already hurt too much with just the bar. Any pulling motion work is fine though. Is there anything I can do to help fix this besides no pressing for a few weeks?

Sounds like a torn tendon to me. My shoulder injury happened the same way and the pain you are describing sounds familiar (although yours sound worse, I had no problem pressing only the bar). My tendon was partially torn.
If the pain doesn't go away in the next couple of days, you should definitely see a doctor with this. It doesn't sound like something that will fix itself.

i tried a pullup the other day, overstrained trying to do the first one. a small circle of blood appeared sometime after in the middle of the middle crease in my arm (the bit opposite the elbow). i thought it was a spot at first, but it doesnt look like one (hair folical is there which makes it confusin) and doesnt really feel like one but still hurt when pressed. did i like burst a blood vessal?

yeah zhang jike looked beastly in that game... still impressive to even get that deep in a world championsship for a european
edit: just checked the world ranking. cant believe samsonov is still in the top 10 :D by far my favourite player
Squat: 235 3x5 (in the middle of a huge form reset, and keeping a tight back while going deep feels really good Press: 105 5-4-4 (the wiki says 2 missed reps is ok hahaha... ) P Clean: 125 3x5 Pullup: 5-3-2
So I think I'm going to join an oly gym in the next few weeks. I dropped the bar during power cleans while trying to catch it on my quads, and it fell right on my shin. Lots of scraped skin, and probably some bruising. My current gym is a 2 minute walk, and the oly gym is a good 30 minute commute, damnit
Oh man, I'm so close to the 35 lb plates for the press, tempted to just go straight there =(

Yeah, Samsonov is awesome. Saw him a couple of times live when he played for Düsseldorf. Unfortunately his style of play has nothing on the chinese, he is a little bit too slow for them (or you could just say too tall)

Maybe I'm gonna ask them if they have some Paleo-flavours, that should cause some confusion.
lol
I had a weird workout today plan was to do 130kg squat. already felt very weak while warming up for some reason. and then I had to drop the bar on the 3rd rep in the first work set. major fail. so I went for some front squats at 90kg instead, light bench (60kg) to practice form, and at least set a new PR on the power clean (72.5kg).
no I idea why I failed that squat. last workout was on thursday and I ate a ton, got plenty of rest etc.. strange. maybe it was because of the crazy hard deadlift (167.5kg) that I did on thursday.
anyway, gonna try again on tuesday (when I will also be going for a 2xbw deadlift (170kg)). gotta rest up and eat a ton of milk!
