I can't seem to understand how their system works and I can't find an explanation for it. Can anyone explain to me why Morrow has 7-2 in stats and 7 points and Sheth has 7-2 in stats and 8 points? I thought you got -1 point for a loss and +1 point for a win, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

The hype video looks like it was rushed out unfinished to me. Nevertheless, the casting trio makes this a must-watch.

The 7-2 stats are the number of match won (Bo3). The points come from games won/loss differences by individual games played. Imagine football (soccer) leagues, it's the same idea with goal differences.

+2 for 2-0, +1 for 2-1, -1 for 1-2, -2 for 0-2

I thought that video was pretty cool actually, alot better than the vast majority of tournaments anyway.

That's their record in matches.

Points are calculated by subtracting individual games lost from individual games won.

As an example, let's take player XyX. XyX has a 3-1 record in series.
He won two of them 2-0, one 2-1, and lost one 0-2.
Total wins - total losses
(2+2+2)-(1+2)=6-3=3
Thus, he has 3 points, according to NASL's system.

Does that explain it?
For he is the Oystermeister, lord of all the oysters.

How is that retarded? It is necesarry so there wouldn't be 7 players tied for every spot.

Oh my god. This is going to be so amazing. Love the brackets and everything.

EDIT: Does the 10$ ticket include VOD's from the pool play that's already been played?

So if you bought the HD pass for the season do you have to buy the Grand Finals pass?

Well tbh I find their whole round-robin group play thing boring and would rather see another system completely, but that's beside the point I guess. Personally I find it silly that Morrow is now having to battle 3 other players for a spot rather then being directly seeded into the ro32 because he has lost 1 game more than Sheth in 9 Bo3s. I'd rather have some kind of tie-breaker.
