Blood for the blood god etc

nice, those shirts are cool!

The shirt designs are awesome but I purchased one around February and I must say I was quite disappointed by the quality of the shirt and thus didn't buy the others I intended to buy solely based on the designs.

I can't speak for the other shirts, but the EG jersey uses American Apparel which is considered one of the higher quality brands on the market!

So what is up with esports companies in California typing "LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA. – May 31st, 2011. – Today " before writing their article? They are writing as if they were an actual news company or the fact that them being in LA has any significance to the article.
Is this just an attempt to look legit? I've always wondered why the California esports people do this because I've only noticed them do it.

Will there be more designs with the launch?

You're making a post on a forum...A Press release and posting this information of date-location seems redundant and unnecessary considering the date is on the post already and the location for a press release on a forum isn't going to make you seem legit. It makes it look like you're trying hard to be legit.
Just my opinion and I know it's a press release, I was wondering why they are going above and beyond to appear legit to a bunch of nerds on a forum.

Can't check it at the moment as the server seems busy Pretty sure the whole thing was copy-pasted off the EG website (check source), so its still considered a press release >_>

Annoying that the sizes are only in inches when the only country still using those are the States, would be nice to have stuff in centimetres for international people. :>
why hasn't a pro team signed a deal with a website like threadless yet? i'm sure the tees and jerseys would be a hell of a lot cooler.

One brand can have many grades of fabric to produce from; it's better to rely on examining the actual product rather than just flipping up the brand. 2 easy things to look at, start off with the texture & seams. For example, certain fabrics, such as short fibers, are cheaper and less durable but looks just the same when they're new.
Note, I'm not in anyway saying these shirts are bad, I'm just saying the idea of "oh, it's a good brand" doesn't always work.

I think the "world leader of e-Sports" needs to be further clarified. ^^" Or is it American-English "world", which is a synonym for U.S.?

You missed the 'a.' It sort of changes the complexion of the sentence. ;/
Nothing out of the ordinary here. The announcement is pretty cookie-cutter as far as press releases go.
EDIT: That one sentence I quoted from the press release is pretty butchered... the 'an' shouldn't be in there.
I'm guessing sirscoots wrote it.

Anyways, if they partner up with somebody just for clothes, I think they should aim for EG-Jackets. Though that'll get rid of the leather gracket joke, but oh well...

You could announce a partnership with a dry cleaning company and some people here would get excited.

Aw, I was hoping the jersey was really a jersey, not a t-shirt.
This is so incredibly nerdy. Imagine walking on the street and someone comes up to you and asks you about your shit. Then you reply "oh its my favorite starcraft team!" I wouldn't be caught dead wearing this

Only $25 to be a walking advertisement for Steel Series, Intel et. al? Awesome deal!

my thoughts exactly, some nice polyster Adidas climacool with 'Gracken' on the back would be nice
What clown wants to wear the same shirt as idra ???
I much prefer a t-shirt to a jersey personally. To reuse elitesniper420's words, I wouldn't be caught dead wearing $5 target t-shirts. They are just poor quality, I pretty much only wear American Apparel t-shirt, which is what they used here. They are pricier ($18 retail) but they last for a while. $25 to support a team I like and I get a good quality t-shirt out of it? Awesome.
Whether you are confident enough to wear it in public or not is your call Use it as stylish sleepwear if you want
I buy stuff from a lot of teams but I don't really like the EG shirt... I like sponsor patches and whatnot, but they're so localized on that one...
HERE ARE SPONSORS:... also we're eg.
Ahhh yeah, fanboy mode activated!
How come I am unable to pre-order? Already out of stock?
EDIT: nvm, found it! :D

It's beyond awesome. You should buy some Steel Series and Intel gear as well as the shirt and support the people who are supporting eSports, as well as EG.
25$ to show companies that nerds care about eSports and that we notice who sponsors it? That's a steal!
I personally have some of the American Apparel, so I can vouch for comfy and a long lasting tshirt. I have worn this EG shirt out already outside of MLG and had many compliments on it actually asking where I got such a cool designed shirt. Even if your not like me, its sure of a nice gaming shirt to wear while gaming!

who the hell is JWong and WHY is he more "popular" then Axslav / DeMusLiM ??!??!?
@ OP - thank god... been wanting some EG clothing for a while now. good way for teams to make money to pay / send players to more events.
Yeah I was hoping for a real jersey, not a t-shirt. Although considering the t-shirt is $25 maybe I couldn't afford it.
Split Reason are awesome - I bought two of their shirts earlier this year and I love them!

It's the 21st century man, nobody is going to beat you up and take your lunch money for being a nerd.
Also what world do you live in where people walk up to you and ask you about your shirt?
Very exciting, I've been waiting for this to happen for a while!
It's a t-shirt, not a "Jersey"
I'd buy it in a heartbeat if it was a jersey or hoody :_:
i think its the same as what they wear. the players dont have jerseys they wear these shirts afaik
YESSS! I wish more teams would offer this! I would buy multiple of ALL designs!
i think this is gonna be the first time for me buying clothing off the internetz
really like some of their designs
Why you call it jersey when it's 100% cotton. I can look like Idra now :D But better if they come out with Gracken shirt.
I gotta be honest I don't really care for the design :\
YAY!!!!!
I'll buy just to support eSports....and some of my favorite players. A EG hockey jersey would be the sickness. (i can dream)
Sir Scoots is a master of shopping his team.
tbh I don't think people would buy a t-shirt to wear it. If I would be a sc2fan, i'd buy it to get it signed at a lan and then frame the shirt or hang it in my room. now if its a real jersey or hoody its another story.
I'd fucking love an EG Hoody.. especially as i've never bought one.. but they do look comfy.. ;D.
Might Order one of these t-shirts tho, and lose about 5 stone, and like 7 inches of height.. then pretend to be idra (might have to dye my hair and work on my accent too)
shit.. maybe not a great plan actually

I agree with your statement, getting it signed at a LAN would probably be my big thing. I guess the bigger thing I would do though would be bringing a mousepad and getting that signed. Meh, it's interesting, I like the idea of getting something to support your favourite team. I swear Team Liquid did something like this recently... or maybe you had to do something to win it...
My memory fails me
might have to get me one of those...
Wheres the Korean team jerseys I'd kill for oGs jacket or Startale, even a slayers shirt.
That's pretty sick, although the current EG t-shirt is already pretty cool.
i'd be interested if it werent bloated with EG's sponsors. i'd like justr an EG shirt without having to advertise their sponsors, after all they dont sponsor me.
The real question is, if I wear an EG shirt to MLG will Incontrol autograph it?
Great! Now I can finally look like my favorite douchebag EGIdrA Fighti... Oh wait...
Idk, I bought a TL shirt coz I wanted to give the site the money and its comfortable. And I wear it. Sometimes people overthink clothing just a tad bit too much. And thats coming from someone who owns a few suits.
will be ordering mine soon, very cool shirts.....might even have to get 2 cause im an uber nerd for EG
will you be selling the Leather Gracket?
Order'd.
I hope a decent mount of that money goes to EG. I definitely think there need to be a bit more options than just the shirt, but it's still pretty awesome anyway.
Is it just me or do these look different from the jerseys the EG guys were wearing at Columbus? I thought the jerseys were black and neon greenish, but it might have just been the light. Also, it says the material is cotton. Maybe it's just me, but if I'm wearing a jersey, I want it to be jersey material and not a cotton shirt with the print of the same stuff on it. Regardless, definitely a cool first step and pretty sick design.

Sadly it still won't accept my debit card even though NetFlix and the thai place I just ordered from did. Hoping to get one soon as I was one of those nagging fans. It is just a Master Card from my bank, nothing crazy.

You should get some company to make EG sneakers. Like converse except with the EG logo, which is very good imo.

Hmmm, would have liked it more without the sponsors I think actually.

Split reason, may we have a logo shirt but without all that merch stuff ? Like, i'd really want to wear a shirt with the eg logo, but if i am wearing ads with monster and intel and whatever written on me, i'm not buying this :/

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA. – May 31st, 2011. – Today Evil Geniuses (EG), North America’s premier professional gaming team and a world leader in e-Sports, have an announced an official partnership with popular video game apparel company Split Reason for 2011. It's called a press release.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Press_release You're making a post on a forum...A Press release and posting this information of date-location seems redundant and unnecessary considering the date is on the post already and the location for a press release on a forum isn't going to make you seem legit. It makes it look like you're trying hard to be legit. Just my opinion and I know it's a press release, I was wondering why they are going above and beyond to appear legit to a bunch of nerds on a forum. Anyone find this ironic?
Why do you guys have to whine about every single little thing? EG is just being a professional eSports corporation. Seriously -o-""
Anyway. About time they started selling EG shirts! :D
TAKE MY MONEY!!! Gunna start a collection of team jersey... got TL, gunna get EG, who's next?
how long before we can get little eg dolls?

I was here hoping we could buy things like oGs/SlayerS jackets.
Make it happen, EG. You have the color scheme. I BELIEVE IN YOU.
you know football shirts? with names and stuff, wtb an IdrA shirt.
I've been waiting for this since IdrA joined the team.
I'd love to support EG but this shirt isn't my taste. I hope they release a shirt with just the EG logo or something a little cleaner in the future!
man i love the chewbacca t-shirt in that site!!
Congrats on the partnership EG. It is great to start getting out apparel for fans to really show their support for the teams. ^^ I hope to order one as soon as I can.
Pre-ordered! Already own a Fnatic jersey and am eagerly awaiting being able to purchase a Liquid jersey! :D
Awesome! I really would like one of those shirts

ordered, happy to support

bought one

I just want a SlayerS shirt haha, but this shirt is awesome.
$25 for only 1 selection, and a t-shirt?
Rofl.
Lower the price to $15-20 and people *might* consider one.
Time for other teams from all around the world to jump on the train... Seriously this would be huge support for the teams!

This is awesome!!!!!!! EG my favorite teamuuu~
Here I was hoping to get an EG shirt with like Idra on it or something.
Then I realized it's 1 shirt for $25, and it doesn't really look all that great
BOO YEAH! Now I can look like I'm one of the pros!
Got mine! Can't wait for it to come in the mail! :D

As a veteran of many sports, this is not a jersey. Hold on, mods, before you temp ban me. This is a Cotton T. Let's face it. Starcraft 2 takes a ton of mental stamina and you can occasionally see a player sweat in intense matches. Why not use some higher quality jersey like materials that we see in soccer/football. I understand they would be more expensive, but anyone willing to pay $25 to pimp your corporate logos is going to pay 39.99 for a high quality masterpiece.
Just a thought.
Doesn't look as cool as I expected it to be. Damn I cant wait for a slayers t-shirt
I ordered last night and used paypal. Today I notice that the order got cancelled hours after. I have no idea why, it didn't say anything about it, just that it got cancelled. I don't really mind, maybe it's because it's new, so I'll wait for the pre order period to go over. But take it as feedback. The lack of information part specifically is what gets to me. If you can't even tell me in an email what happened that caused the cancellation, then I can't be bothered to make the effort to find out. So, like I said, maybe there is nothing to improve upon here. I don't really mind, I'll wait a bit and try again later. Love the shirts, thanks a lot for getting them available <3
props for offering paypal!

Fuck Idra, I want a Fujiapples jersey
Why so expensive ($24.95)? Aren't we paying you to advertise for you. We are walking billboards advertising for EG and their sponsors, they should be paying us to wear the shirt, or at least make it cheaper. But great shirt and I'll probably buy one nonetheless cause EG is awesome!!!
I don`t care about the price, i`ll just buy it anyway! :D
Gogo Evil Geniusus :D
Does anybody know whether Split Reason has the exclusive merchandising rights to EG members' images now?
25 is steep, but its because of how many colours, and layers that need to be printed.
I like it....but idk if id buy it, sorry!
This price is too high, and the design is bad. I'm loving the mousepad and all, but milking extra cash out of supporters who buy these things isn't looking good on EG.
too bad im already stocked up on TL shirts! :D

I just send an email back. I did send one yesterday to find out what happened. Turns out I went back a page to change to a faster delivery option and it had already been checked as an order, this before I made a payment so I thought it was still under order customization. The order with the slower delivery was the one that got cancelled. Which is ok. The point about the communication and including some information still stands ofcourse but there is nothing to really worry about and got a fast and nice response.

The advertisements plastered on the left side of the shirt make it look pretty bad.
Dont only people collect these shirts or also wear them at tourneys lans?
Bought one a few days ago. I'm so excited to get it!
I think what everyone wants to know is where the hell can they get an incredible miracle shirt
Nice, will be ordering the team jersey and Incontrol shirt, INCONTROL FTW! :D
Congrats on partnership EG! :-)
I feel a bit like a movie prop, but still a bit scary

Actually the smalls on the American Apparel fit very nicely on females. We had Anna try one on and it fit perfect on her.
So if I'm not mistaken the pre-order won't be delivered in time for MLG Anaheim but it will be prior to MLG Raleigh. this is per sir-scoots!
Will they be offering anything else EG related other than the jersey in the future? A hat or something of the like? Would LOVE to buy a fitted EG hat! Would pay like 30 bucks for that lol.
I'll buy it after members receive it and give their reviews on it! I don't live in the US so I'll probably have to pay a lot for shipping charges ;.;
iNcontroL shirt please :D

just got mine about an hour ago, definitely the most badass shirt imaginable, really good quality as well
Also: Dont forget to wash on warm and air dry! Dryers are evil, they cause the ink to fade much faster.
