Sounds cool! Cant wait. I will definitly be tuning in!
Just dont make all the prize winnings "designing" things. Some of us are not very good with photoshop/paint ect. =D
WUUTT!! 3DS??!
soooooo going to enter the comp! XD now even MOAR reason to watch the pro league yay!!
I can't wait for more StarCraft to watch so sounds great to me
Props IGN for creating even more incentive to watch the stream. Can't wait =)
Wish I had a camera so I could make a sweet video and win me a 3DS! Pretty stoked to see how this stacks up production-wise against the NASL.
I like the variety of players in the NASL more, but I'm sure the IGN production could be really good since they are partnering with a production company.
Dunno how I'm going to find time to watch NASL, TSL, GSL, and this, but looks like I'll be making an attempt now
Was already looking forward to watching this event but now have more incentive. I hope this event is able to do really well!

Gonna watch some IPL even without the contests, might be live or on vods. But it is nice have a very small chance to win something.
Yes something for US, i hope
Hooray for prizes, hope all the hype is justified and we get yet another great tourney :D

Awesome stuff, but too bad I can't record myself Will wait until the other contests to see if I can enter one of them, I'd really like a Nintendo 3DS.
But I'm wondering, are there any sort of country restriction stuff to enter?
Awesome~~ fight game streams often have raffles for people who donate but this is even better! You get us to create advertising for you and we get a chance to win some 3DS's. I will gladly oblige!
As if I needed more of a reason to tune into the IPL! I'm actually really excited because I know IGN has the production to do this right. Now I'll have to watch out for chances to get a 3DS too. >>;
So just by watching you get a chance, or do you have to do the video thing?
Regardless, awesome work! Will def. be tuning in. I think with the introduction of the IPL, I will officially be able to have a full time job of watching SC2.
IGN my love, why are you so amazing?
The production behind IPL is what makes it amazing, can't wait to tune in! And I imagine this contest is for US participants only, good luck all!
I am worried about the IGNPL results being visible in players' match histories. Some people have already been able to deduce a lot of the results. Is there a plan to try and hide this, maybe by procuring smurf accounts?

I think a good solution would be to play the games on "cloaked" maps. Pretty much every map in the ladder and GSL pool got a cloaked version available and games played on these can't have their statistics viewed and show up as draws in the log.
Of course, I'm not sure if Blizzard are "okay" with maps like these, but I feel they're necessary for high level play. Imoho you shouldn't be able to view build orders in the first place, and custom melee games shouldn't be logged at all.

Do you have any links to people deducing results? I'm pretty curious about this.

So many leagues to watch, this is great. I feel like I'm in starcraft heaven with the amount of content there is, will definitely tune in for a chance to win. (and I'll have an excuse to buy another pokemon game)

So, IGN needs to bribe us to watch the IPL... Doesn't make me feel confident in the IPL at ALL!!
.... ok joking aside; I'm excited and this is an interesting and fun way to get people involved. I mean youtube is a great place to share and explore new content so when ppl start posting videos about the IPL and 3DS I'm sure it will give some extra exposure to the league and hopefully bring in more viewers :D

3DS contest #2 announced!
Its insane, there's so much premier SC2 being produced these days that you actually have to bribe people to watch now
In all seriousness, this is awesome. Really looking forward to the launch of IPL!
Yay for contest #2, that one I can enter!
Stuff like this sets the pros apart from the amateurs. Even if it's just a simple give away.
Players win, viewers win, well done IGN

I am afraid to enter this because it'd look super shady if I won lol

Bagh... I understand is due to legal issues and whatnot, but it really sucks the contest is open only to north american citizens
Best of luck to those who enter!

If you win, you'll just have to give the prize away again (to me!)!
This is bloody amazing. Props to the wellplayed.org guys too!

3DS Contest 3: Follow us on Twitter, and re-tweet one message a day! At the end we'll pick a random re-tweet at random and you will win a 3DS! Look for the @IGNProLeague tweet everyday with the #wina3ds hashtag!
Do double randoms negate each other?
In any case great job so far, keep it up!

Is that right?

I would not even now who to cheer for in Contest 5, not used to NA-Players being favorites in Starcraft II Tournaments, no hard feelings.
Edit: Ok, cant even participate.
is there a due date for cheerful submissions?
Wow, this is really exciting. WP and IGN are doing an excellent job and it's a pleasure to watch ESPORTS take off!
