I really do hope this becomes available for android
|
i paid money for this app hoping that it would be quality...
instead of quality.. all i found was a way of organizing a list of youtube videos for players with poor video quality (iphone 4 has great video quality on most HD streams) ...
while the money isn't a big deal (hell.. I have enough quarters on my desk to buy this app 10 times) you can easily save a couple bucks by memorizing who your favourite starcraft caster is (lets say HDStarcraft for example) and go to his youtube page (on an iphone, yes you can do that on an iphone) and just click on his videos to get the exact same thing
i basically paid money for nothing with this app.... shittiest quality vids ever.. you'll be lucky if you can tell the difference between your probes and the mineral patch its sitting beside...

You sir, are a fool. It uses the same database that sc2casts.com has, and almost all videos are available in HD, it depends on your connection.
On Wi-Fi, you'll get HD, on 3G, you'll get something lower. That's Apple's decision, not mine. Get your facts straight before hating on a good and cheap effort.

This is awesome, please make an iPad version and an Android version.
|
Can i get this jailbroken
|
I bought your app for my IPAD/iphone.
it is a sure buy for your iphone but dont even thing using it with your ipad. this app is 100% not ipad friendly.
rating ; 8/10
suggestion : I would love to see categories like "MMM rush", "zergling rush", 1,1,1 T opening" and not only player vs player title. It is hard for noob like me to find what is relevant.

don't call me a fool just for reviewing an application with an honest opinion.. you can go fuck yourself since the only time anybody will have a wi-fi connection and wants to watch an SC2 video is pretty much at home.. unless you go to starbucks coffee shops by yourself and sit in the cafe to watch starcraft videos, you're going to be using a 3G connection... fair enough, apple made it that way, doesn't excuse the fact that its a compilation of YOUTUBE videos... at least create something like VEVO.. VEVO is actually free and its high quality videos are over 3G, thats the point I was trying to get across
EDIT: and honestly, if you aren't willing to take criticism for something you developed, i don't know what to say... good luck in customer service... i'm not buying anything made by you again for that kind of attitude toward a paying customer...
all i did was simply point out what i did not like about your application, maybe instead of calling me a fool you could redevelop it so its better for everybody in general, including me

My new favourite app, found this while looking for a way to watch the GSL games on the go - this is the next best thing at least and well worth the money
Awesome quality while connected to wi-fi and meh while not, but I know thats not your fault - even when not on wi-fi its still watchable and to be honest just having this awesome spoiler free list that is updated so often is worth the price of the app - keep up the good work with this, really hope it sells well for you so you can keep the app updated for a long time to come :D
If youtube ever get round to allowing high quality while not on wi-fi this app will just get even better than it is now!
Enjoy my money man, best thing I've bought since i bought the iphone4
|
any word on this app making it to the android?
|
don't call me a fool just for reviewing
I'm not.
I'm calling you a fool because you're stupid.
Read through the rest of the posts to find out why.

You know the difference between acting like an ass and giving constructive criticism? I do and what you're doing is acting like an ass.
To the OP: As has been asked many times before, are there any plans on making this for android?

As has been answered a few times before - yes. I'm trying to find a developer who can do it. A few people have stepped up, but noone could deliver. But there'll be a version for Android for sure. And soon I hope.

can you make it use the mobile youtube webpage instead of using the youtube app? that way you can get high quality videos that load faster for both wifi and 3g.
|
Another vote for porting this app to Android! My phone has Flash support, but I'd prefer a dedicated app rather than going to sc2casts.com.

Oh, sorry. Didn't read through all the pages of the thread. Might be a good idea to add this information to the OP.

As a paying customer, I really don't give a shit whether I'm being an ass or not. I paid money and was disappointed by a product. I have a right to be upset. Constructive criticism is only called for when the critic has nothing to gain from criticicising in the first place. Welcome to real life where customers will bitch at you for doing a shitty job. Wake the fuck up.

I have a feeling you have no idea what kind of websites sc2cast it. Maybe knowing better would help before blazing into this thread with rage?

Huk vs Machine = a Machinima video of halo. Epic FAIL
Save ur money people, its really not worth it at all

Would be a really great app, but unfortunatly the quality is very poor
If you could do something about making the quality better?
