Really? It's 8.05 in Florida which is what you make basically in any fast food job. And didn't NYC specifically raise it to $15 with all the "we won" protestors recently? I haven't really paid much attention to them.

I read a thing a while back about minimum wages crossed against the average cost of living per city, and NYC and LA were pretty much dead last.
Seattle was surprisingly in the middle. Stuff is expensive there.

Apartments are really on the rise in Seattle though, the cost of living is gonna go up for sure.
As it is though my cost of living sits right around $0, so what do I know

I'm a natural preference kinda guy but that's not to say tatoos can't look good. Personally I feel like you have to fully commit or not at all. The partial sleeve or one or two odd things in different places is eh. If I were to do it I'd do a really big tattoo on one side and to my chest/upper back. Something natural themed... haven't quite figured out what yet in my daydreams about this but I don't care for the angels, dice, weapons etc. and especially faces. I also worry about if I got one now and then gained 40lb of muscle it would look wrong (lolololol)
Beautiful artwork on a beautiful women is just sexy. Beautiful women without artwork is also sexy. Beautiful artwork not on beautiful women is also beautiful. I'd have hoped LL as a community is more open in our thinking.
Anyway this discussion is never gong to generate anything meaningful as both parties are coming from very aggressive angles. That's not a discussion, that's just people ranting at each other. If you aren't going into a discussion with at least some form of open mind or ability to change opinion based on it then it most likely won't yield anything good. It's just two sides trying to convince the other side while neither side is ever willing to change.

Opened Ysera and my first FoN in a spectating pack. I didn't even notice the legendary glow because I moved a bit fast past the card, so pleasantly surprised, even if I don't play Druid at all, and Ysera would prob most end. up in my (now bad) Priest deck, or if I decide to go for a pseudo-control Tirion-less Pally or pseudo-Wallet Warrior.

At the end of the day, I think it is somewhat offensive and shows a lack of morals and empathy for somebody to rant about how they don't like what another person decides to do to their own body. Having preferences is a normal thing, but getting upset that people outside the range of your preferences exist is a little bigoted.
There are plenty of girls who don't have tattoos Sonnington. No need to get angry.
lol ketara good job beating up that projection you made of sonnington he said he finds these things unattractive. plenty of people would consider excessive alcohol caffeine, smoking and fried foods self-multilation of sorts and wouldn't want people they care about (kids/spouse/friends) to do those sorts of things. he basically stated preferences and you're acting as he says people shouldn't never do those things.
caring about what other people do is is part of empathy, since you wouldn't like to do it to yourself you might dislike the idea of someone who does it to themselves. A psychopath wouldn't give a single shit.
It would only be bigoted if you think someone with tattoos is somehow inferior, and ironically enough I don't think it's quite so easy to get a job if you have visible tattoos.
are you just jumping on the outrage against sonnington train? like what thehumansensation did when sonnington expressed his perspective of things living in the middle class. But oh how dare he not look at the people in ultra religious groups/lower class/middle/east/the starving children in africa? Since all his statements were clearly sweeping generalizations and an assault against LGBT people everywhere
"Lip stretching is gross" is an accusatory statement, and will offend people who disagree with you.
"I think lip stretching is gross" or "I feel grossed out by lip stretching" is just a statement of personal opinion and does not try to force that opinion on others. So it will not offend people who disagree with you.
you're arguing semantics at this point, leaving out "I think" is mostly just contraction rather than changing a statement from a personal opinion to a bigoted attack. and I find the idea that people have to be offended if they disagree with something offensive.

I think you could get a lot out of this lesson as well. See, that's a sentiment I share. But then I get on the internet and people tell me that "well OF COURSE it's just my opinion why do you need me to spell it out" and "if you need to add 'in my opinion' or 'I think that' to your posts etc. then it means you're insecure". But then maybe that's just cyberbullies.

because it doesn't make sense to assume someone is speaking for a large group of people unless you infer that from past experiences like dealing with religious/anti gay etc etc groups which is an unfair inferral considering most people on the internet are just random dudes not associated with any particular group but may share some of the same ideas.

There are plenty of girls who don't have tattoos Sonnington. No need to get angry. Btw alcohol and caffeine are not unhealthy in non-excessive amounts.
Also I thing generally people are overdoing it with the "dont say offending stuff". Trying to silence people's opinions does not make those opinions go away.

Oh, ya know, just quietly freaking out about trying to figure out where the hell my life is going and what I want to do. My personal deadline is early next year to start making moves for something...but what that something will be is still very up in the air.

Go back to school. Then you can figure it out while hanging with cool people and fly hunnies.
Also, more time for GAEMZ

Welcome back teut.
So this week I found out that in the other company that merged with my company, roughly 7 people and a manager handled the area that I do by myself that I was trained for a few weeks before the person I'm covering left on leave. Lol.

No interest in more school right now. I prefer to make money.

Professionally. I'm less concerned and actually quite content with my personal life right now.
