Many of the GvG cards are just straight up too good.

Or the fact that you copy the land means the "when it comes into play" part isn't acted and you get a copy with 0 counters on it? Thespian stage becomes a copy of dd with all its rules text. The now dd cloned thespian stage has no counters and is SAC'd. You now have a flying 20/20 indesructable at the end of their turn. Untap and kill them.

Squigly is fking awesome. Prob my favourite character so far but idk she seems far too technical for such a noob like me to play. Fila prob seems like "best" bet as she looks to be straight forward but require mad fundamentals.

So either wotc is shit and something is wrong or they weren't prepared for server load or both. Also yes filia is probably the most newbie friendly character, but don't be discouraged from playing anyone you want. You can learn fundamental s and a basic BnB on any character without having to go into the character-specific mechanics (for example for squigly its stance canceling)

The most important thing is learning how to make every single hit confirm move into the combo. Adding stance canceling gets a bit more advanced, and I'm still figuring it out, but you don't need it to be successful with her while you're learning.

Surely it can't be that bad. Also unrelated but I finally found an earthlike world to get my name on first. I only found one on my first 3 week exploration trip and I'm nearing three weeks into this one. http://i.imgur.com/BRRBPnN.jpg Ain't she pretty?!

I just love how cute she is when hopping in her stance :> Well and she seems cool. I'll check out the vid but that's prob too high level. As I told Wave this is my first FG ever. So just the very basics of FG are what I'm still working on. Once you get a basic handle of the controls, that Squig video will help a lot. edit - I have to say, having this virtual phone sim is pretty nifty.
