I looked at the 1+1 on its website because I see it talked about a lot here and it's only like $299? Some of these alternatives from Virgin are like the same price or more even after the contract discount. It... sounds appealing, to say the least. But I have a few questions about it if anyone has time! How durable is it? I'm a farmer, but I typically keep my phone in a ziploc bag to prevent fine dust and whatever's on my hands from wrecking phones. Would something like having it in your pocket and leaning on something be alright or is it too fragile without like a huge beefy case? I saw a handful of reviews critiquing its longevity too, I'm really more of a 1-phone-lasting-multiple-years kind of person, so can the 1+1 handle that? | ||

I got a $10 case with the phone, and as far as I can tell, the whole thing is pretty damn sturdy. I don't use a screen protector personally. I really do love this phone. Be careful though, I believe it only works for AT&T and T-Mobile. I always keep screen facing my leg, so I see no reason leaning against something would hurt it, but I guess it depends how hard and what you're leaning on. It is just slightly smaller than the iPhone 6plus, which surprised me, but I've gotten really used to it, and can't look at my iPhone 4s without feeling like a giant now. | ||

I've had it fall off my standing desk on to the floor without any damage at all. This phone is the best phone I've ever used in my life by far. | ||
