I think whether you enjoy HotS is really centered around whether or not you enjoy playing the characters, and less the maps themselves. Which I sorta do, but not enough to grind like I do in LoL.
I was greatly amused by this statement released from Warner Brothers after the Suicide Squad leak:
"Warner Bros. Pictures and our anti-piracy team have worked tirelessly over the last 48 hours to contain the Suicide Squad footage that was pirated from Hall H on Saturday. We have been unable to achieve that goal. Today we will release the same footage that has been illegally circulating on the web, in the form it was created and high quality with which it was intended to be enjoyed. We regret this decision as it was our intention to keep the footage as a unique experience for the Comic Con crowd, but we cannot continue to allow the film to be represented by the poor quality of the pirated footage stolen from our presentation
When will companies grow up and realize that we live in the information age? People have video cameras in their pockets or, in some places in California, on their face with Google Glass. Nothing under the sun is going to remain private if you put a bunch of nerds in a room with it.
I like the principles of HotS of lack of builds, many maps, shorter games etc. But the characters and the tempo of the fights is just so boring and sluggish compared to League, the game just fails on the basic level of "how it feels to play it" for me.
Note that I hate Dota for the same reason, and it has none of the principles that make me like HOTS even though I don't play it.

That's a pretty narrow view. There are lots of reasons to enjoy or not enjoy HotS. My lack of enjoyment isn't because I don't enjoy the characters, but because I don't enjoy the systems for developing them and the heavy objective focus.

One thing I love about dota over all other mobas I've played is that the fights/skirmishes in Dota are SO dam dynamic. League I feel it's more often than not a straight up massacre. You either own them or you get owned. There's none of that edge of your seat going in and out in this huge extended skirmish that lasts for minutes. Certain champs in League you can do the "outplays" but often that's because of their huge mobility where as Dota it's all about them items. Maybe I'm just way better at Dota than League lol but I don't think it's that as even pro games in League skirmishes don't feel the same.

Here you go. Not sure if it works when embedded, but you can pan around and look at Stormwind. This has me more hyped than most of the stuff written about the movie, it's just so cool and nostalgic.

Eh, I suppose so, just that most people I talk who play regularly don't play because of the maps (and in fact hate most of them), but enjoy the characters from a gameplay or fanboy sense of the game.
Or they're just hipsters who dislike LoL and Dota, but that's whatever.

The only thing I liked about SW was the music as you walked in.
6ah any thoughts as to whether Evolutionary Leap will increase/decrease in price ever? It's one of a few cards I'm thinking of unloading so I can build an actual deck.

Keep for now. Card might be super useful for modern.
I feel like all I've been doing lately in Hearthstone is streaking up and down. I'd be fine winning and losing in sequence, but this whole win 10 -> lose 10 thing is getting annoying. Technically I'm getting better ranks out of it but the frustration is real.
