Just got bloodwork done, I didn't pass out, all numbers look great, withdrawals a not so bad this time except for tremors which makes writing on a keyboard a bit interesting to say the least, my custom cover for my phone arrived and the sister got a therapist she already has faith in. Life is starting to look great again.

Trying to play Battlefield 1 and I have to fucking resort to playing on a US West server from Norway just to get a game on certain days. It's ridiculous. It's not just Battlefield 1 either, it's several games that are like this... Most of these games aren't even more than a year old and there's like no players.
Unless the game makes it big I think most gamers jump to new releases right away leaving a quickly dwindling playerbase for games that dont pop off.

That's great news Jek, glad to hear the recovery is going as well as it is for both of you.

Thanks man.
Right now I alternate between being pissed off and concerned about her, she's way too cute and young to deserve having to experience this kind of shit. My physical numbers are now in the green and my head was already messed up before anyway, havent really accepted/understood what happend yet I think. Thinking about it still makes me want to throw fists (and probably will for years to come) when I think about it, then after I calm down I feel horrible for letting something so petty as anger fill more than concern for her.
As much as I'd like Janna buffs I would feel equally bad for my opponents for having to play vs a buffed queen of anti-fun.

Hoffa's syndrome + just a bunch of problems growing up. Need surgery but because of the wait list i'll be waiting up to 12 months I'm fine enough to walk around day-to-day but long days give me pain.

Not the waiting lists!
Damnable socialism!
Sorry to hear that man. You'll get to NZ someday.

I've got an opportunity to go to New Zealand fairly soon, got any tips? The plan is to do sightseeing and biking/hiking tours, probably on the south island.

We did more on the North island than the South island, which kind of upset me because the South island was definitely more fun from a sightseeing perspective.
My favorite there was probably Dunedin. It had sort of an old historical feel and a new blood college town feel at the same time. Also sort of a "little Scotland" vibe which was fun because I haven't been to Scotland. The Olveston house exhibit was much more interesting than I thought it would be and their history museum was just as good as the one in Wellington.
Akaroa was gorgeous but small, would be a fun place to go but I don't think it would take longer than a day to see.
Wellington had really great museums but the sort of feel of the city wasn't as attractive as Dunedin for me. It felt kind of stale in a way that a lot of capital cities that aren't the biggest city in the country do. But if you like wildlife museums the Te Papa there was awesome. They have a giant squid in a tank, I think it's the only fully intact specimin in the world?
Milford Sound was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. We went there by boat, but I know you can get there by land. Don't know how hard it is though.
Be sure to eat Hangi (maori food) and Kiwi burgers (with beets in em!) while you're there. And golden kiwis. Hangi is hard to find though because it's cooked in the ground and I guess a lot of restaurants don't serve it because of that. I had it in Wellington, but I think the one I had was kind of modernized and I didn't get the real stuff. Kiwi burgers were surprisingly tasty.
If you want any more specific advice, totally let me know. I've got family who have been all over the South island so I can hit them up if you have specific questions about a place I haven't been.
