Was 90 degrees, had a thunderstorm, power went out, no water because they use an electric pump to get water from the well, had to fill buckets with rainwater to finish cooking dinner, finished dinner and ate by candlelight, then couldn't wash anything because no water so we all got drunk and played Jenga.

Across 5 standard events I am now 14-2-2. Split top prize in 2 events, won 2, and 2-2 the fifth.
Pretty disgusting record with a pretty disgusting deck. For my win tonight I topdecked Hazoret for exactsies against a player who refused to split IT FELT SO GUD
I've had my worst results because I moved from UR to UB because of the local energy decks that you just autolose to, and none of them kept coming at all while new monoR popped up and UB just doesn't have nearly enough removal to survive it. I even lost to janky combo decks, partly from mistakes because I let myself get caught, and partly because I run less counterspells. There's no "store championship" because wotc planners have some weird ideas, but the store'll still set something up early january for the prizes and official stuff and I already know several of the energy players will come back full force for this one, so a number of my matches will be toss-ups no matter which deck I go with. Maybe I should just flip everything and try UW cycling for a change and something with less lopsided match-ups!
What I take back from this is that Wave gets some free time tho. That's good! Practice closing for a few days for end of year festivities?
I liked the movie quite a bit, a few interesting things going on, good story arc.
I dislike Kylo Ren as a character, much the same way I dislike Spiderman as a character. Comes across as a real whiny bitch who can't make a decision without having a melt down or three first. I just... Just get over yourself dude. <_<
My only real complaint is that they broke the laws of physics a couples times on the dreadnought destruction scene. 40+ years of having all machines following the laws of physics, and suddenly X-Wings apparently don't have momentum when its cinematically pretty. Also Leia surviving deep space with no protection; forgetting UV rays, and ebullism + Show Spoiler +
yum... girl be looking like a boomer from L4D in no time
, she'd either rupture her internal organs trying to hold in air if shes holding her breath, or have had her brain filled with oxygenless blood in 10 to 15 seconds if she keeps breathing... either way, how the fuck is she force pulling herself to safety? I guess maybe she could just block UV rays and create zone of pressure using the force. Idk, just seemed like a little much for a character who literally just got blown through a plate glass window with explosives. I also thought they retconned the whole story arc that gave Leia her force training, although I suppose it's certainly plausible in the new canon she worked on it with Luke at some point I suppose.
I have a few other minor gripes, but nothing more than any blockbuster film now a days. Not quite sure how Mr. Thief knew about the plan the characters he interacted with didn't know about for example?
So, got a bit of a puzzle at work. We currently do something called EPE (electronic presentation of evidence) but their solution is to vga split like 20 screens so the end of the chain of splits the picture is basically nonexistent. Anyone have any better ideas?
I suggested we could locally stream the screen using OBS and then have that displayed on ipads or laptops linked wirelessly with a router. Need to set up an rtmp server though allegedly from what I've been reading. No idea what I'm doing though and I've been tasked with sorting it out :D

Afaik screen share is also online? Has to be doable on LAN (wireless) because courts have shit all Internet availability usually. They also sometimes play videos so the solution has to be stream quality basically.
Also don't want clients to be able to move anything on screen at all.

For iPads you need to make sure that there's an app that will play the rtmp or rtsp feed. Beyond that it's mostly a matter of making sure nothing gets fouled up but network or system security.
It can be any tablet tbh so could just get an android one and use vlc/whatever.
Just pretend like we're starting with no kit and are buying everything brand new. I'm thinking:
Stream PC - good specs + assorted ethernets
RTMP Server PC that broadcasts out stream PC stream - also good specs? (got screens and keyboards and shit already)
Router/access point thing (already technically have these)
client laptops/android tablets with rtmp players on (also already have these)
Anything obvious I'm missing? It should theoretically be as simple as setting up the server and stream and broadcasting it out right? Will there be bandwith issues if there's, say, 20 people connected?
Bandwidth issues are a function of the network infrastructure (e.g. cables, wifi, and especially the router). I'm not a network engineer so I can't tell you.
