Should take a crumb picture in additional to the crust pick (Crumb is the makeup of air bubbles in a cross section of the loaf). So like cut a slice and let the camera see the air.

Loaf looks good though, The little bow out on the bottom camera side center is because of a kneading mistake or a temperature problem (temperature might be inconsistent inside your oven).

Obviously the bread is gonna taste just as good, but try to punch out the dough a little better and stretch and knead to loaf shape a little more consistently through the whole process next time, and if it still bows out, it might just be an oven thing, and thats okay. You won't win competitions with those imperfections but a lot of folk really like bread with character like that (i prefer it myself).

You could also prevent that by scoring the bread before baking allowing air to escape through the top, rather than bow out the sides. a simple cross shape or square would work for that shape loaf, but if you dont have a sharp enough blade (like a safety razor) then no need for that either.

Also did you use Quick yeast or active dry, or a poolish or other starter? Working with Poolish or other starter creates a more consistent result but it's really not necessary for everyday bread unless you are working with something fancy. Also did you use bread flour or all purpose, did you go traditional, with no oil/fats (like butter, milk) or did you go french and add some dairy in, or italian and add oils.

I bake a loaf a week for myself, spend about 60 cents a loaf in ingredients for high quality bread, same loaf would cost 4 to 5 dollars at a store nearby. a years saving is about 176 dollars or 8 dollars if you are eating high quality bread over cheap manufactured white bread, rather than comparable bread.

Asia doesn't really do bread. It's sad.

But then again, I can make a full plate of rice and curry with chicken and vegetables and everything for about 1$, so...

I miss bread sometimes though.

There are a lot of unleavened breads from asia, though often more toward the himalayas than out where you are. Barley flour is pretty commonly used too, so it's really dense flatbreads oftentimes.

european or egyptian style yeast breads arent too common though. outside of like sweet desserts in japan iirc.

White bread makes better stuffing because it dries out without getting as hard as whole wheat, letting it soak up the dressing and have an even texture. but like, that and baguette's are the only reason to make white bread, apart from learning how to make bread the first few times.. even partial whole wheat works better for everything else.
