So far brainstorming has come up with Monster, Serial Experiments Lain, Mushishi and Madoka. Internet is a failure because it tries to say shit like Full Metal Alchemist, Hellsing and Attack on Titan are horror, or that Elfen Lied is a good show. | ||

I feel like I got duped by a steamer that I watch that compared Stellaris favorably to Hearts of Iron 4. HOI4's AI may suck fantastically, but at least the underlying mechanics are fun. | ||

So... ever since Skype started using these "skypehostbrowser.exe" processes, supposedly to run more efficiently and securedly than by using the single process like they did before, it's burning around triple the memory it used do (170M to 60M). And just now it started multiplying them for more or less no reason (it tends to do so whenever somebody sends a file to a conversation) and created 250+ identical processes before I got to kill the main one... and the skypeHostBrowser processes didn't close/die when the main one did. What garbage have they cooked up this time? >_> | ||

Not sure what type of "horror" you're after though, because tbh i'm not sure much anime is actually scary. | ||

Monster isn't really horror, more thriller. Mushishi is def not horror, it's far too chilled for that. They really good anime though. | ||

 I suppose When they cry and Gakkou Gurashi could classify as horror they are pretty interesting in all their charming and creepy WTFness. Haven't seen Parasyte, but the manga was good. | ||

Umineko isn't really horror/scary either. Sure, it can use sound effects and stuff to create an atmosphere (the games do at least) but it's more about resolving the murders, and when it gets unsettling it's more about its psychological elements and the people than horror elements. | ||
