And yes the limited format for arena sucks (insert yangers rant here) but if you're not shit you still do pretty well more often than not. | ||

re: xmage I really enjoy it streamlines the whole tournament and drafting of a cube. Was kind of a pain to coordinate with friends/bros online and now it's everyone hop on xmage and go. Once you get used to the interface it's fine. Like if enough people were interested you could easily have a LLL mtg draft game night. | ||

What I do is I just buy the newest packs (GvG in this instance) and then craft the few legendaries I still want/need in order of importance to me from older sets (in this instance, classic only). With Brawl giving you free classic packs as well as that spectator quest, sometimes I'll randomly get the epics I still need anyway from classic so no point to ever buy classic anymore. Since we had an adventure last, the next thing to come out will be another expansion with new packs, so buying the new packs and crafting older cards that you WANT will be normally better overall, as you'll end up with a mix of cards from all sets including the specific ones you need for your decks. It's working really well for me and while I still miss a lot of class legendaries like Tirion, Jarax, etc, I have basically all the big legendaries just from daily gold quests + arena gold getting me the gold for the packs. Granted, I know I play more than you both (soniv + req), but only just so I don't waste the daily quest gold, really. To do that you just need to play enough one day out of 3 days though to complete all the quests so it's not too hard. Pretty casual, really. | ||

With enough planning I could possibly get 1-3 of my brothers to join too. It's not the same as paper magic at someone's place but it's what we have  | ||
