Sure as a base Oblivion has many stereotypical fantasy elements that can be credited to weak writing but it also has plots that are not there to solely push the protagonist forward in the story but is equally there to a large extent to the more complex nature of the other characters in each story line (i.e. the characters in the different guild story lines.) while the antagonist is incredibly weak in all of the story lines the fact that the other characters actually have depth is something that is incredible lacking in genre and in gaming in general. | ||

The British version, Robot Wars was superior by far. The announcers and hosts were terrible, and the arena barely had any effect on the matches. Based on the AMA recently it looks like that might change butbi remain sceptical. | ||
